the lord was there with me in the hospital when i had that huge emergency and up to this day he is still watching over me cause of all these seizures it caused. (we have no idea what happened. my brain all around was covered with blood and they had to drain it out. thats when the seizures started)

Kodeeni- yes i know, but he is saying that he was following god and then he stoped believing (so God never really left him but he felt like God did) then he wanted god back in his lif beacause he couldn't do it on his own (see the songs Casting Crowns"east to west" & "i'll take you back"-Jeremy Camp)

Godskid2009-I think that the song is talking about how sometimes we don't let God lead are lives because we fall to far from him then we find him again(like the Israelites how God would save them then they would stay close to him for a while then fall away again then he would save them AGAIN then they would come back for a while then fall away again.

I don't think this song is biblical. Either God reigns in us or He does not. He does not reign in us, then does not, then reigns in us again. How can he reign in us AGAIN if He never leaves us. Has He not promised He will never leave nor forsake us? It is a beautiful song though

@Godskid2009 He reign in our hearts forever. However, the Bible makes it clear that there are times when we can be unfruitful and our eyes can be drawn away by things they ought not be. But these times of unfruitfulness will not lot last for long, because the Holy Spirit will lead us to repentance before we go too far. This song is basically saying, "God, I want you to reign in me every moment. Let me not take a breathe apart from seeking you. Let no idols make their tent in my heart."
