Womens'Lib don't like being called "Lady." Evidently they don't think they deserved the title! Those women that thought that way should not have spoke for All women. My mother hated alot of what those unhappy females said and did.
The stars will protest if it's beneficial to their careers and their celebrity. Look at the Kardashians. They spent roughly 16 million on a wedding for a marriage that has lasted 72 days. Is this publicity? Certainly. It's all about THEM. Stars do very little these days unless it's directly related to themselves in some way.
Priceless introspect from Groucho into the Hollywood memories of a classic, classy insider. I have long ditched my cable for informative and fascinating insight like this. Thank you for posting. Peace. Bear
What really gets me about these interviews is that they were all real.
Dick Cavett was a terrific interviewer and when he interviewed these show business giants he was honest with them. I watched interviews of this show spanning from Groucho Marx to Jimi Hendrix and they all share something in common. They were clean and truthful, as well as being a little funny.
Today you got Jay Leno and other people who just do haste interviews. They feel fake, rushed and forced. They pale in comparison.
How many times was Groucho Marx on the dick cavett show because imdb says twice but when you go through youtube you find what appears to be him on at least six or so times.
Reminds me of my grandfather :-) what a great man
