I have many Turkish friends here, who were born in Germany, and Germany doesn't give them any citizenship. it only gave them endless residence permit, but thats all.

By the way, you get your nationality from your father and mother. not from the place you were born in. If your family is Turkish, you are Turkish, not German.

If you walk around in Germany, you won't see that much flags. Many of the young germans do not care about their country. I think that if there is a war, they won't even defend their land. But in Turkey there are flags everywhere(in USA too).
