Here's news for you. Because of the greediness of Apple and music labels and Clear Channel, the only way for these bands to make money is to do tours and even then they are still screwed money wise. Just imagine, drugs ex wives and alimony you need to support those. Now comes Arnel, who they are probably not paying much and they can tour again. Just accept it, like call center jobs even rock singers can be out sourced. Plus the non white non American factor sells.
One of the great feel good stories of recent years is this singer getting a well-deserved shot at leading a hugely popular band and living his dream. Don't stop believing, indeed..
Obviously, this new lead is amazing. He is very talented, but when he sings the line "For a smile they can share the night" his accent is there. If he can annunciate the letter N it wouldn't stand out so much. Kudos to Journey for keeping the music alive! I miss Steve, of course, but life is change! Rock On, guys!!

Here's news for you. Because of the greediness of Apple and music labels and Clear Channel, the only way for these bands to make money is to do tours and even then they are still screwed money wise. Just imagine, drugs ex wives and alimony you need to support those. Now comes Arnel, who they are probably not paying much and they can tour again. Just accept it, like call center jobs even rock singers can be out sourced. Plus the non white non American factor sells.

Obviously, this new lead is amazing. He is very talented, but when he sings the line "For a smile they can share the night" his accent is there. If he can annunciate the letter N it wouldn't stand out so much. Kudos to Journey for keeping the music alive! I miss Steve, of course, but life is change! Rock On, guys!!
