But I want to know who this girl is; she's BEAUTIFUL! She definitely has a total Natalie Portman thing going on. I really like her. I love her eyes hair the whole bit. And her earnestness. very Portman.
The scene with the little girl at the beginning is a reenvisioning of the original Frankenstein movie where the Monster throws the little girl in the pond the way
she's throwing daisies in the pond unknowingly being responsible for drowning her rather than saving her from drowning. Isaac Asimov Robotics Law demo.
holy crap was leonard nimoy ever that young lol.that robots pretty cool but i bet he cant put a rowntrees fruit pastle in its mouth without chewing it
Howard Da Silva who played the lawyer related to this script about false accusations. It was his first work in years, having been a victim of Joe Mcarthey's blacklisting.
@TheMrBlinx Oh wait a minute, it's be too long since I watched this so I didn't remember how it started, no it's right. I haven't seen any other intro than this but it could have been changed for the season, it's common.
@MissMael Starting at 2:38, the short music is wrong. Also, there are a lot of words missing. Go listen to another and you'll see the difference. It could be, as you say, a seasonal thing. Probably a later season, because the first seasons had the full thing.
@TheMrBlinx The production team of Villa Di Stefano and Dominic Frontier changed and so did the music and intro. For the worst in my opinion. Dominic Frontier's music from the 1st series is the best of all time of any sci fi series I feel. Ithink he also composed the music for a later series 'Quinn Martin's 'The Invaders'. Another great score.
Great show, if you watch and are disappointed by the clarity of the film grain or the realism of the monster then I think your probably watching it for the wrong reasons, and greatly missing the point in enjoying fantastic seminal nostalgic TV such as this. Loves it.
@Knitonepurl2 While it's true that robots will never become human, humans are becoming more and more robotic -- constantly attached to their cellular chattering devices and iPods, iPads, et cetera. I would say more, but that is beyond the parameters of my programming.
It's funny how people back then perceived robots and their idea of how a robot looks and talks. Nevertheless, 50 years from now I'm sure people will be saying the same thing about us now.
Wow Leonard Nimoy before the Star Trek years, I only ever seen him in Night Gallery and one other show, where he played a bad guy, they weren't very good parts, wow he can actually act :o
This TV plot is a direct analogy of what we have going on in America RIGHT NOW. The freaked out establishment over reacting to a situation using fear to justify thier own act of brutality...see the resemblance to anything happening today boys and girls?!
The pitchfork was provided so as to allow the slower members of the audience not to miss the Frankenstein's Monster reference, (as if the lilttle girl wasn't sufficient)
really informative and interesting
