I met derren decades ago between films at a 3 colours triple bill he told me how he was doing childrens partys etc but that his stuff was very good if he said so himself. I asked him if he knew guy hollingsworth (a uni friend of mine) and he didn't and partly because I thought he couldn't be that good and not know guy (one of the very best card magicians in the world) and partly because I felt I was being chatted up I went to get another swift pint in. He obviously looked Guy up!
