  • I finally know how to pronounce the name of this icecream! plus theguyinthiscommercialissupercute

  • id love it if she dropped the tub and it hit one of the ballet dancers

  • making ice cream romantic!! I always thought HG ice cream was better than sex any day, and in the morning, it will still be there waiting for me.

  • That girl is Charlotte Stanworth :L

  • Wierd thing. I stayed across the road from the Kiev Opera House in March 2009 and recorded this song at The Liverpool Philharmonic Hall one year ago today. Enjoy the full song live.

  • it would suck if they balcony they were on collapsed during this

  • awwww! its soo cute!

  • This girl in this advert is gorgeous, absolute stunning. Wish moments in adverts were like real life.

  • Awwwwww!!! I just LOVE this advert!!

The song is perfect for this

  • I have such a crush on the girl in this ad. She's unspeakably adorable.

  • @SchelmMorder very common in north germany . your last name sure is Eiskrem lmao!

  • What a really nice song, have found it on Spotify

  • This is amazing, so cute!

  • I was amazed when I heard Richard Hawleys voice on television. Hes brilliant and has a fantastic voice.

  • what song was that it nearly made me cry

  • It's called 'Open Up Your Door' by Richard Hawley from his 2009 album "Truelove's Gutter". x

  • it's my siister =D

  • No Venivertebrae you are not!!! It is a beautiful advert and his voice is so perfect for it and the concept behind the ad. I think it is cute too, makes me want to hug the people closest to me!!

Streamer1971 - you are right, I would never had heard of Jose Gonzales if it wasn't for the Sony ad so im thankful for Sony for introducing his music to me.

  • am i the only one who sought out this video because i thought it was really cute?

    :3

  • @venivertebrae no!!! :)

  • @venivertebrae This is the cutest ad on tv everr! Every time i watch it, i cant help going AAWWWW... ^^

  • Tbh, thats a bit harsh. The first time I heard of Richard was in the Elbow song, The Fix.. and now here for a second time. This has led to buy his albums because I love his voice so much.

  • I think it is great, think of all the new people that will now be exposed to his magical music - an opportunity to reach a new audience I say. Way to go Richard Hawley!

  • Don't care, his voice is amazing and I am looking at this vid 'cause I could not remember his name.

  • You're an idiot! Its not about money its about more people discovering Hawley's music. How many more people are gonna hear this on TV and become fans. Had you heard of Jose Gonzales before Sony Bravia ad? The trick is finding the right vehicle and this ad is beautiful and a cool brand.

  • "pimp your music" ?! its called promotion. Being interviewed on the TV, playing your song on the radio, playing live its all promotion and a TV ad is an accepted promotional tool. U2, Madonna, Bob Dylan, Coldplay, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Wolfmother, Missy, Elvis, Fratellis, Daft Punk, Kasabian all appeared in ads and they aren't doing too badly. There are virtually no bands that wont do ads these days, its just a question of finding the right match. Get out of the 90's

  • I don't agree.

He didn't MAKE the music for the advert, his music was sourced by haagen dazs advertising campaigners because his voice/song was perfect for the campaign. It's brilliant publicity for him!!

  • i think i have heard this song before..

sounds similar to the song in s.darko?

    mmm

  • i just heard this on the television, at first i thought it was some sort of melody by the golden silvers, lovely song though! i will be looking into this bad-boy

  • we watched Richard Hawley sing this last night at the sage, gateshead

    bloody brilliant
