During trimotor's era... most planes were made by wood, but the Ford Trimotor is purely metallic body.

@sonichedgie These planes were made in the 1920's there were alot more of them back then, but time takes it's toll on great things.

Its amazing how stable Tri-motor is , considering only 20 years
past the wright flier made in 1903 ... Tri motor is slow , but its easiest plane to control ...
It can even fly with 1 or 2 motor only .
