Diesel has more horsepower and torque then any gas engine of its size and even more. The 6.4 L powerstroke diesel which is an 8 cylinder has 50 more horses and 70 more lbs/ft of torque then the V10 excursion. learn your shit.

My 2006 Jeep has a 3.0 Mercedes V6 Diesel, pumps out 376 of torque and 220 hp (stock)
0-60mph under 9 secs, top speed 125.
I wouldn't want it to run on Petrol or Gasoline.....
