I had the wonderful pleasure of visiting Malaysian Borneo last summer, and while there, discovered the unique charm of P Ramlee. For those of you in Malaysia, it should come as no surprise that I found your country to be truly beautiful, and have been missing it ever since I returned. These old films make me happy, reminding me of the smiling faces, brightly-colored batik fabrics, and luxurious, exotic vegetation that I encountered while there. Such kind, happy people!
@BorneoBoy28 Bro...this scene was shot in Singapore....not in Malaysia......but sadly....there are no more Kampong(Village) landscape in Singapore anymore... Its been replaced by high rise buildings.... sad....ya.....
its really a wonder film! i love it a lot although I am a chinese and i don understand it well. However, really salute tothis film! I think someone should revive malay films!
i dont care what ppl say but this is thee best song eva.... and this goin to be my ring tone for eva n is goin to be my weeding song and my death song!
