  • Ovechkin, Stamkos, and Crosby are all secret offsprings of Wayne Gretzky.

  • crosby is the next one, even though i hate him i think hes gonna score 150 points next season

  • @TheJoeSShow who doesn't hate crosby? xD

hm i am not sure about that, i think that time is over where players score 150+ point, the teams are way too balanced right now and the goalies are doing a much better job right now then back in the days...

  • hahaha I assure you our beloved cheechoo is not the next gretzky.

  • @camalpuddle haha yes i believe you xD but hey, i had many vids from cheechoo on my pc so there was no other one possible xD xD xD

  • @JT19MVP

it's all good. Just read an article about him the other day, I really liked him, he seemed like a cool guy. sucks his play dropped off so much.

  • Nice goaltending at 0:34.

  • malkin?

  • hard to compare eras. i dont think gretzkey's and lemieux's stats are touchable. crosby and ovechkin are great players but i think crosby is probably the closest. the way he plays in terms of passing and scoring is alot more similar than ovechkin. ovechkin is more of a pavel bure style. great vid.

  • i think ove and sid or both really good players but ove is closer because allot of his goals a on the rebound

  • probably the one that crashed into the goalie

  • in my opinion i think that sidney crosby will be the great one of the 21st century because he is the youngest prosect to hit the nhl world let alone the youngest player ever to sign a deal that would be their main protche (rbk at 17) in 2005 they had had lottery for sidney which most of the agents called the crosby sweepstakes and came into the nhl..... he builds off the pressure and he plays off of his players just like getzky did he play is based of the chemestry of his teammates

  • just take a look at 90% of crosbys goals, there like crappy rebounds of deflections in front of the net, hes all hype, ovechkin is where its at

  • its hard to say ove is definently more of a goal scorer a crosby is more of a play maker greatsky was a play maker buut he league was different then so it was easier to score

  • to be an elite player you have to win a cup, right?, ovechkin wont be winning one anytime soon the way he plays (no defense whatsoever). and crosby has pretty goals too just look at his top ten goals, he just knows what to do to win, and does whatever it takes even if it means going to the net and gettin abused and getting garbage goals

  • Crosby being the one who is all hype?? Come on...im not a Pens fan or anything, but in terms of "hype"...Ovi is the most overrated player in the NHL.

  • ur stupid. ovechikin is the most well rounded player in the league..ur retarded for what u just said.

  • And you're obviously an Ovechkin dick rider. Take ur face off his lap long enough to see he's not the only player in the NHL, you cunt.

  • are you crazy dude, ovi is DOMINATING the league right now, he is the undisputed number 1 in the business today.....

  • @hckyboy keep telling yourself that. ovechkin is the shittiest player in the nhl. crosby sai d before last season he wanted to shoot more and he won the rocket taking 70 less shots the n ovi. look at this season crosby has 23 goals taking 20 less shots or so and has 13 more goals and has the same amount of assists and crosby has scored nicer goals for the last two seasons he played shooter. lmfao ovechkjin will never ever win the rocket again especially with stamkos on the rise and sid shooting

  • I absolutely agree :)

  • Im wondering, how good would Gretzky be in facing the 20th century goalies, Im thinking not so good, becasue the goalies back then cant save for shit, even a peewee player can score

  • yes, especially the goalies but also the defenders....

i am not so sure that gretzky would have scored these points nowadays also....

i think when an alexander ovechkin, sidney crosby for example would have played in that time gretzky played, they would also scored a lot more goals and made a lot more points....

  • both of you are retarded. If Gretzky kept playing, he would've been subjected to the same regimens, if anything ,he'd probably be even better then he was in the old days.

  • You make a good point.

  • Ask Joe Sakic. Or Steve Yzerman. Contemporaries of Gretzky. Maybe Gretz wouldn't have scored 200 points today, but he'd be way ahead of everyone else. He didn't just have a five year run...he was a force to be reckoned with for two decades. You also make it sound like 20th century goaltending sucked. Hello Martin Brodeur, Patrick Roy, Dominik Hasek... The fact is Gretzky raised the bar...and so far no one from any era has come close...except maybe Mario.

  • i absolutely agree, i have never said that gretzky would be a 0815 player today, but i think he never would have scored these 200 points (or 163 assists) mark at this level how the nhl is today....

i mean 163 assists, thats pretty much two helpers every game.....i mean thats absolutely impossible at this level....

and i also think, when ovechkin, crosby, malkin for example would have played in this time gretzky played, they would have scored far more points as they do right now

  • Everybody else at that time was playing with the same conditions that Gretzky was but he was the only one who scored 200 points in a season (4 times!), he was the only one who scored 92 goals in a season, he was the only one who managed to put up so many assists in his career that he would be the all time leading scorer even if he never scored a single goal in his career... but he also has the most goals ever.

  • he did face the 20th century goalies tard. it's the 21st century
