I think that Blackmore plays the best version of Highway star ever on this album. There's just something great about his solo in this song. I can listen to it all day.

@cw3le No. Just some bits and pieces from 8mm cameras. The sound is overdubed. Not like today. Where everyone can record on a cell phone. That is why footage from then is so valuable. And rare. And would be worth a lot of money. So, the answer is no. Otherwise, if someone did have a recording that was never seen., they would have quite a large bank account.

Si bien es cierto que Made in Japan es uno de los mejores albums de rock en vivo, para mi el mejor, Jhon con toda franqueza y humildad reconoce que no solo fue obra de Deep Purple sino de Martin Birch. Ciertamente. Ese sonido, no solo de la musica sino ese "ambiente dark", alucinante, creo que es parte de su gran exito.
