California Olive Oil - America's Heartland

I have never bought a bottle of olive oil, or any kind of vegetable oil, in my life.

I've been vegan since 1980, entirely for animal rights. Nothing to do with my health. I don't believe a lot of the ridiculous health claims that naturalists make regarding the connection between diet and health.

A friend of mine and her parents must drink a gallon of olive oil a week!

And she ABSOLUTELY has to buy the most PARTICULAR type of olive oil or else she will DIE. Cold-pressed, or something.

@mphello It's very strange (and amusing) to me. She recently drove out in a HURRICANE just to get an EXTREMELY particular type of distilled water and an EXTREMELY particular type of olice oil.

I like olives, BTW. They're tasty. I have NO idea how anyone gets ANY kind of oil out of ANY plant.

It's a mystery to me.
