I never said exit 2, I said mile 2, it's there in blue and white.
I got on at Chastain road (exit 3 although it could be a few tenths less than mile 3, exits are not always marked at the exact mile), at the end of the ramp when I was technically on I-575 it was probably mile 2.7, 2.6 or something. I'm within a few tenths.

Wow! We are at roughly $4 a gallon here and people are not happy at all about it, I can't imagine $10, although most of that $10 is in the form of taxes (One for you, 19 for me)

Nice drive, Jim. I actually love that drive when I get a chance to go up there. It sucks for those who have to endure that horrendous traffic everyday, though.
The I-75 corridor from I-285 north to Canton has to be one of the most unsightly suburban sprawl zones anywhere in the southeast. The commercial development seems so excessive. Also, I'm kind of glad that a I-485 freeway didn't go slicing through east Atlanta. :)
At 1:26 i was like "SLOW DOWN!" bc cops sit on that onramp @ the Whitewater exit.
I live 3 min off Chastain and hate that streach.

I-485 would be a nice alternative and relief to I-85 if it had been built, Driving East Ponce to and from Downtown is brutal.
