Great! This reminds me of my younger years... I used to go bird hunting with a similar slingshot; I used to make the pouch in leather, stitching the two corners about 5mm once bent in half so that a cradle was created... Similar concept of yours. By the way, we used to spit in the pouch, once loaded, to keep the lead shots stuck together in a tight cluster when shot!

I use a wrist rocket shape with arm rest, I make the sling shot in a cuirclular shape instead in a "U" shape such as yours. This allows me to place 4 rubber surgical tubings connected to a wider,leater pouch and I can pour about 20 of so BB size pellets into the pouch very easily for rapid fire. This design is very effective and powerful and I have brought down doves, quail, rabbits, squirrels and small ducks with it.. It has a superior range to"U" shaped slingshost and much more powerful, too.

@kenzo5716 As a side note. As the surgical tubing passes through the circular sling shot, the pouch opens to allow the shot to release and spread. Of course the pouch is slightly deeper for more capacity on this design but will spread as the pouch passes through the circular sling shot. An arm rest is essential. Try it, you'll like it. Something you could try which I found seems to work with 4mm pellets is to use a very light glue (like Elmer's school glue or a white glue stick) to stick many pellets together and store each one in a small capsule. When you load the grapeshot simply apply a little bir of pressure and it comes apart. The shock of being fired breaks apart most of the remaining stuck shot.

To make loading faster, you could wrap the amount of shot you want to load in a weak material like a single ply of tissue paper, then place it in the pouch and close it, then pull it through the hole in the top to rip it and leave the shot. It only takes a few seconds and you can have them pre-made for fighting hordes of zombies. :D

I am wondering if you could post how to make this style of sling shot or make one that the pouch could be changed at will. I keep a sling shot in my hunting pack with my survival gear. Having the ability to shot either or would give great advantage toward getting birds and rabbits to try and feed one self if a gun is broker or what have you.

Your videos are amazing! I learned a lot more about slingshots in your videos than my experience growing up in Asia. Back then slingshots are used effectively in Gang fights. As defense from the large nuts, bolts, stones, BBs, and bolt arrows. They carry cloths or rags the size of beach towels. The bottom of the rag is lose to absorb the impact of the projectiles. Gangs don't use guns because of the noise. It attracts the Police which in turn will come because they want the to take the guns.

For faster loading, open the pouch, fill one side, then close, then you only have to add a few more shot to completely fill. You don't have to put all the shot through the small hole.
