I didn't know Chris Moyles played. Sorry, you don't REALLY look like Moylesy. Well you do, but not in a bad way. Anyways, I will be learning this solo, btw. Thank you. Lovely playing.
Thanks for posting your setup. You should be a paid Fender endorser. This really shows some new ways to get more mileage out of a Tele. It sounds great
Fabulous stuff. Love the tone. Can you shed some light on your set-up? I'm an old blues player from way back, looking to expand my horizons.Your vids are very helpful. Thanks for posting.
This demo was only one possibility, and I found it hard to stay within the constraint of the scales set out.
I would say learn the scales so you get good at the fingerings and are able to recognise the sounds. Then you can almost forget about them and learn to play melodically. Thanks for all the comments.
hi Paul, I just love your playing - it's so relaxed and melodic and it makes clear that you don't have to race your fingers across the fretboard at lightning speed to play nice solos that don't sound slow, though. remembers me a bit (technically that is) of "slowhand" Eric Clapton, even if his sound and musical style is different enough.

I am using a 50s (reissue) classic player Tele here going via a Line 6 Toneport into my PC. the backing is programmed into Band in a Box.

Yes, you can use the harmonic minor of C here.

Nice solo, I've been doing that altered scale but it still doesn't sound like jazz to me. It does when you're playing it.
