  • and the award for the most annoying saxophone ever goes to this video...

  • dillenger was a real gangsta that nigga wasnt no mobster i bet im the only black nigga that watched this video

  • stupid guy needs to pronounce stuff

  • 2 years in jail for not violating the Doctor's Hypocratic Oath?

  • @crocfme 2 years in jail for harboring/assisting a wanted felon without reporting it.

  • He is my role model

  • This is past time paradise... A crook is praised yet people want to lock pot heads up in this day and age.... hypocrites!

  • He broke out of jail with a wooden gun! lol!!!

  • how could you dislike a documentary?

  • Legend escape

  • @musicman30000

Trumpets date back to 1500 BC. Are you really that thick "musicman"?

  • The banks were taking from the people and Dillinger took from the banks seems fair to me.

  • Not a very good documentary. From 6:00 to 6:50 in this video, it's pretty funny how they spoke of the feds so heroically when they were for the most part inept and out of their league at the time. At its inception, they were not allowed to carry any weapons at all. And when they were allowed to, they didn't know how to use them depending on local police to train them. And their "sophisticated labs" constantly mishandled evidence. But we always have to make the good guys look good don't we.

  • RAIDERS ???

  • that female warden even smileing with him, she looks the same on the movie they done a good job. i wish hollywood would leave a bit more truth in movies nowadays

  • Go see the Crown Point jail...it's really cool and is only $5

  • there has been some evidence to suggest that some robberies were prearranged with the bankers themselves. Banks were insured for robberies but not for failures. If robbed they could claim dillinger had stolen thousands more than reality and be able to make a profit from the heists

  • Who is worse? The "Big Bad Bank Robbing Man" or the people pushing and shoving just to get a glimpse of him. He is a spectactle, something they, we are drawn to. After a while nobody cares if he has killed or what he has done just that he exists for us to follow and admire. And though nobody would admit they admired a bank robbing cop killer, they, we did. And we still do. Thats why Johnny Depp and pals glorified it even more. Fucking hypocrits if you talk shit about Dillinger.

  • the background music is PAIN to ears !!

  • can u see all of them died in 1934 bonnie and clyde dillinger babyface nelson prettyboy floyd wow

  • GANGSTERS MAKE THIS WORLD ROTATE, RESPECT THAT. THE GANGSTERS ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT CHECK THE POWER OF THE LAW, GANGSTERS GIVE THOSE SO CALLED LEGAL PEOPLE JOBS, GANGSTERS DO EXACTLY WHAT THE GOVERNMENT DOES AND THAT IS WHY THEY DO NOT LIKE GANGSTERS. I WOULDN'T SAY GLORIFY THEM CAUSE YOU SHOULDN'T GLORIFY ANYTHING BUT RESPECT THE GAME.

  • Dillinger is a legend.

  • wtf..............the guy was a lazy fuckin thief pure and simple..............do ya think the familys of the people he murdered think hes a legend or hero.............a real legend or hero gets up in the morning and goes to work to feed his family

  • @MrCol916 your a shithead that is what he did got up and went to work someone should shoot you.

  • @MrCol916 Person. The family of the one person he murdered. In comparison Clyde Barrow killed nine police officers over his career. I'm not saying Dillinger was a good man, but there were others far worse. And anyway, criminals have always maintained legendary status. Look at Dick Turpin and the other highwaymen of 18th century Britain, or the Australian bush rangers.

  • what a hero john is

  • Nobody knew "the reality of Dillinger" except those closest to him. Cold-blooded killer...pfft. He was probably the nicest, most generous "gangster" in American history.

    Nice music.

  • isnt it funny how most men wore suits back then for everyday use??? if ya did that today where i live. youre either a banker or a undertaker more likely a undertaker with cold ass hands to shake. and a soft ghostly voice. kinda freaky now. lol godbless.

  • @39tommyboy

I THINK THERE WAS A LOT MORE HUMAN DIGNITY BACK THEN EVEN THOUGH YOU HAD THE RACE THING AND WOMEN WERE BEING TREATED AS THIRD RATE THERE WAS STILL MORE DIGNITY THAN TODAY. BOYS IN MY HOOD LET THEIR DRAWERS SHOW, BACK IN THE DAYS THEY WORE SUITS EVEN IN THE GHETTO

  • I give them props the banks rob people with pen and paper. These people only rob the robbers, but as usaul the american governement tells the people to name them thugs. We are slaves of the this country nothing is changed but the fact that it is more economical to make all work for the wealthy. If you ever notice they take no thought in to bailout works but businesses who own these business the wealthy. They only want you to work..

  • Fuck Edgar J Hoover Fucking Faggot Never Did Shit In His Life He They Should Of Shot Him

  • It is awesome how he broke out of a jail.. you can't write that shit

  • lets keep in mind the kind of thugs that are around now! steal your money and jump you for no reason.jon dillinger just robbed banks and never hurt a innocent person.its not like he would go on rampages killing people.although he was a con,he had class.

  • I like the documentary except for the damn music playing throughout the entire video.

  • His father really dropped the ball in raising him . .

  • These guys are legends for the people of their county, and their reputation is wide world known, now they are a part of history. The fact people secretely beloved them is that there have been made country songs for them like "The ballad of Jesse James".

  • People quit insulting each other and watch the program.

  • yeah, some sort of extremely tough substance.

  • All these G men im sure are also dead by now because of old age,and no one even cares.but of course we all know the goverment pays good.hehehehehehe

  • Yo buddy -Violence begets Violence! use your Brains instead.

  • The escape in the Sheriff's Car has to be one of the Greatest True Crime Stories ever - couldn't make that one up - it'd be too unbelievable. he musta had Brass Balls!

  • @PaulDougouba your goin 2 blame the rich people 4 being "white devils" where the rich people has 2 pay higher taxes 2 support the assholes like u who sit home collecting wel fare mayb u shuld get off ur ass n work a little bit then mayb ull become a rich "white devil"

  • Hinducominthru how much money did the "white devils" pay u to defend them? or u just bent over for them to insert?

  • yup, The police killed more people than Dillinger did.

  • @falloutboy604413

indeed john dillinger is a good man:D cops are bad people xp

  • @falloutboy604413 the cop shot dillinger 4 times before dillinger shot back...dillinger had a bullet proof vest

  • @falloutboy604413

    more than Capone

  • @falloutboy604413 only problem with that is, there are alot more than one police officers

  • @VCRMANLOL Yess, there are, But Dillenger was seen with the "intent to kill" by police, when in reality they killed more people than he did. its like a good guy kills more than the bad guy situation.

  • @falloutboy604413 And still do.

  • they don't make Men like they used to.

  • and its Man-kay-toe

  • ST. PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Stole sheriff Holleys personal Ford V8 LOL lost their jobs. LOL Dillinger made jack ass of them LOL cheeky bugger LOL

  • LOL I wonder what Dillinger meant by that?

No you cant hold me. I have girl waiting for me on the outside, thanks, but no thanks Ill only be saying for few days. Ill have a cup of tea if you please and few magazines to read thanks.

  • METALBLASTER u must be a very sad lonely man to say that this thugg little crooky punk was a GENIUS? what is al capone to u than god allmighty>>???? get a life man.

  • The public loved and admired him. Bankers were scum then as now.

He claimed until the end that he never killed anyone.

    A pathetic gangster?

We just saw a pathetic gangster and his minions leave the White House.

It takes guts to rob a bank.

  • @oysterjoe Unless if he is black....thank everyone will say he is a "FILTHY NIGGER" Am I right???

  • @runhorun Shut the fuck up bitch

  • @runhorun So true.

  • @oysterjoe and most of all it takes guts to steal 2 policestation :)

  • @oysterjoe do u know wat its like to go 2 jail or the death penalty it sucks of course he would lie

  • no ...John Gotti was a god

  • How does a real gangster look like?

I bet your the kind of idiot who thinks pussy ass RnB singers like Akon and Chris Brown are real Gangsters

    F U

  • how did he pronounce frechette???

  • It was on this video that I realized he killed some guards, I wanted to kill babyface in the movie at the end, when he got reckless...in the movie I saw a John Dillinger that never wanted his crew to be harmed, and even guards...so I liked the character J.D performed, John D., was real, and I think he wasn't bad...

  • Any armed robbery is just a breath short of murder and when murder happens the crooks say it was him or me like they acted in self defense. They seem to forget that they initiated the deadly scenario and nobody would be hurt if there was no robbery. Dillinger may not have been the homicidal maniac that Nelson or Clyde Barrow was but he was not Robin Hood either. In the end , he was a murdering thieving piece of shit. Your sympathy should go to the honest men who died in his wake.

  • Fucking Amen! Finally somebody says something fucking sensible!

  • You know, the movie, as ALL JOHNNY DEPP movies, was awesome...can't beleive he never watches himself on big screen, I know he ain't John Dillinger, but I love the Robin Hood kinda stuff, I hated when he died...even though he was a criminal, I consider him (John D.) a genius!

  • Dillinger was only 31 when he was gunned down. Hard to believe he was SO young! Pictures of him look like a man in his mid 40's. Tough times, tough men...

  • Thats the criminal life, very very stressful.Man like that gets no sleep at all.Evil ages you

  • billy bob thorton shoulda played dillenger

  • haha but he looks 50

  • No, he shouldn't have. And learn to spell Dillinger, you illiterate punk!

  • John dillinger is the real man.. who had thought that he can walk to the front of the police man, worst is that he can hold up the bank in just 1 minute and 40 seconds.. come on.. can somebody be like him??

  • During that time the banks were not so secured from any bank robbers. I mean the security measurement in 1930's is not good. That's why robbers like JD can easily rob the banks in just a minute and 40 sec. If JD lives today,I'm sure that it would be hard for him to rob in 1 min and 40 sec.

  • great upload, thanks a lot.

  • i was thinkin about it bro. these days in order to be a gangster u gotta have divorced parents listen to rap sell and or do drugs and wear baggy clothes. (btw i wear baggy pants only cause im not into the whole tight shit these days)

  • hahaha

  • imupwidi

lithuanian12 okay no disrespect you guys need to calmmmm down. yea iit was for sure hell during the great depression but i admire john dillinger in a way because you have to admit you have to have brass balls to walk up to a bank demand money and get out. you guys may not lke him and i understand but if you actually have better things to do then do it because we admire him and were going to talk about him so bye

and dont comment back with a bunch of cusses because weve all heard it

  • :D and how much do you have to admire the man for walking into a police station and walking right through a investigation room strictly for the dillenger case saying heyy and looking at the pictures then just strolling out!!!

.... and just for the record the public actually like him as eventhough it was the great depression it was ultimately the banks that everyone hated so for a man to stand up and say that is actually not yours was massive .......and fs what are peoples problems!!!!

  • i kow and i loved the movie

  • Just seen the movie Public enemy a few days ago it was tight....big ups to Johnny Deep and John Dillinger.....

  • Only a sick fuck could love this fucking half witted criminal He was just gutless cunt that was too funking lazy to work for a living. Fucking americans trying to make a low life asshole something he's not. Fuck Dillinger...

  • did you even watch the first vid it was the great depression people who did work only got a small amount of money and most died of starvation if you didnt have any schooling no training and thrown on the streets what would you have done starved on the streets and beg john did what he had to to stay alive so how about you shut your mouth and look at the two sides of a coin

  • lol obviously everybody loves him, all you got for your negative comment got only thumbs down. And does your mother kiss you with that mouth? He loved the public, and everyone loved him. Stop crying.

  • i like john dillinger. he's ace. whos seen public enemys about him robbin banks. i think johnny depp plays him so well.

  • its such a badass movie

  • i love johny dillinger... he is BREATHTAKING!

  • he my hero 4 real

  • to orsetto81utube.. it was another Hoover you're referring to, Herbert Hoover was the president, not J. Edgar Hoover.

  • Thank you!

  • John Dillinger died today, R.I.P June 22, 1903 July 22, 1934

  • how exactly did he die "today" he died over 70 years ago

  • Yesterday! July 22!!!!!!

  • wow

  • Comment removed

  • idiot child. get some learnin, reet...

  • omg- sad, but I think he is SO hot... I want one!!! lol

  • I think it is important to know that these people are no heroes. It is time we forget the romantic, tragic criminal. these people were only motivated by greed and the desire to get famous. He definitely was no Robin Hood.

  • Greed, yes, but not the desire to get famous (unlike that Jesse James who loved notoriety for the sake of it)

The 30's were harsh times and to get by in life was sometimes very hard. To be a celebrity wasn't a big priority like it is these days.

And I think it is important to know that Robin Hood was a fictitious character.

  • But people were comparing ghim to that fiction. I guess that as long as there are people admiringthese guys you will never have effective law enforcement. These criminals cross a line and because today movies are made about them you get the feeling that they are famous but we don't need all that publicity. Just get them locked up and that's the end of it.

  • @yakidk89 a fucken men besides john dillinger probly loved how he lived because you gotta no it would be fun to live like that have the money the girls anything you want

live fast and die young or live slow and boring and die old

  • you idiot they are not doing this to to get famous they are doing it for the money even a kid at age 3 know's that and yuo don't

btw dillinger was 10000 times better then robin hood and dillinger was real and hood was NOT

  • He was one of the coolest gangsters of all time.

  • @Regenmacher175

That depends on your view of the situation. As the mindset of these "criminals" is of a rebellious spirit against a government that blatantly breaks constitutional law, these people are engaged in an act of war against an oppressive force. Therefore they can easily be seen as hero's even if their efforts were squashed.

In a war the laws of the land are of no effect.

If you simply look at them as law breakers for personal gain you ignore the personal histories of the men.

  • @trappy77 the government had nothing to do with the bank depression. It was the people's own fault for buying actions and it was the banks' fault for not keeping stable interest and inflation rates. I believe even if you know their history, tese gangsters were still violent mobsters praying on the desperate and getting away with it because the paople chose the bakns as scapegoat.

  • humphrey bogart gained fame due to his resemblance in petrified forest to dillinger

  • I'm no homosexual but dillinger looked more handsome in moving film than in still photos

  • I agree with that.

  • are you asexual?

  • yes

  • are you really? I'm asexual too!! wow! cool to meet ya!

  • too far too few, tragically

  • yeah :( so where u at? I'm from Chicago.

  • nice way of putting it

  • =O me too! i thought i was...weird. (im not being sarcastic)

  • you mean you're asexual too? or from Chicago?

  • If u think cops are pigs let the world know PIGS CAN SUCK BALLS.

  • i aint ya mate sand monkey

  • take that back

  • nah im good. take back wat you said to me smart ass and ill consider it

  • According to facts, Dillinger never really killed anyone. Someone in the gang killed that cop.

  • no need to jail the doc who treated Dillinger's leg wound to 2 years in jail.

  • one of the best jail breaks ever!

  • hahhahhaa

  • Lima, Ohio is pronounced like lima beans, not Leema, unlike the goof announcer says.

  • why would the FBI waste valuable resources on snatched cars taken across state lines? i say its a state police matter. the FBI must concentrate on much bigger fish!! in the big picture, Dillinger was a colorful but small fishy!

  • Dillinger, Bonnie & Clyde, and the others stand out because back in them days even a small crime was outrageous!!>>>1932>"Oh lord save us!! zeb done stole a mule!! we's all goin to hell"!!

  • the music reminds me of episodes of cowboy bebop..

  • reminds me of outlaw star

  • I love that show.

  • thats a good question ?

  • dis bakground music is soooo anoyin

  • ha ha, Word.

  • Not "Leema" it'd prononced " Lye-ma"

  • Depends.

Capone topped the list of public enemies compiled by Chicago papers.

On the other hand, Hoover and the FBI claimed Capone was a legitimate businessman and that Dillinger was Public Enemy #1.

  • al capone... easy

  • Gay edgar Hoover, a coward had others capture the criminals, then Hoover would step in to make the official arrest.

  • True that. He owned and chewed on his best agent Melvin Purvis. He basically destroyed the life of Melvin after John Dillinger.

  • lozl @ that wooden revolver

  • hi. i might be realited to john dillenger.

  • hoover was hot in lingerie
