I actually don't have a problem with her accent or her idiosyncratic vocal style. It's just her lyrics are painfully immature. She's the only artist I know that has managed to rhyme the word "bed" with "head" in, not one, but several of her songs. This particular track has a beautiful nostalgic and emotive sound, but lines like "my father, he liked me, does anyone care?" are pretty lame. Lyrics were always the Cranberries' weakest point.
