@BrutallyH0nest Rick Carlisle of the Mavs employed the same defensive that Boston's Doc Rivers did against Lebron in 2010, the exact same scheme, they neutralized his athletic gifts and when it was time to emply skill set to counter, he couldn't because he lacks the true fundamentals of the game, no go to shot, no mid range jumper, lack of a post game, inconsistency at the free throw line...

@BrutallyH0nest this is what makes him ineffective in 4th quarters of intense playoff competition, just as with Boston, it took Dallas 3 games before they were able to neutralize Lebron, but once they did, he had no answer..it's not even a sense of choking as much as it is not being able to rely on athleticism to win deep in the playoffs..but taking away his ability to drive to the rack, we essentially see his game for exactly what it is..

@Moeking23 Scottie Pippen had a post game by his 5th year in the league. By his 8th year in the league Pippen's skill, footwork and post game were miles and I repeat, MILES ahead of where Lebron is now. When have you seen Lebron do any of the post moves, footwork or show the kind of touch around the basket you're seeing Pippen doing in this video? How about never? Miami could have used some of that skill and versatility when the Mavs had Lebron befuddled in the Finals.

@BrutallyH0nest I agree. LeBron is more "talented" and he's got strength, speed, handles. HOWEVER, he doesn't have any skills/finesse moves. I would argue that LeBron is one of the best finishers at the rim, but I agree with everything else you said. Scottie had so many moves that LeBron doesn't. Only reason why I like Dwade more than LeBron is because Dwade has go to moves and LeBron only has "plow straight through defense like a bulldozer" and a mediocre pull up jumper.

@GRiMxSG Agreed. I've looked at every Pippen video this dude has made and I don't see any resemblance in Pip or Lebron's offensive games. You dont see Lebron doing any of these moves (spin dribbles, post moves, multiple pivots, head/shoulder fakes, etc) that Pippen is pulling off. Pip was a finesse/skill player while Lebron is more of a power full steam ahead kind of player that's too strong and powerful to stop when he gets in the lane. If Bron ever adds a post game he'll be deadly.

Kobe Bryant got "hurt" and was looking like he was dying before he went to the locker room. he comes out 5 min later and drops 30+ or something. everyone's praising Kobe "playing through the injury" and then there's Pippen...rightfully calling Kobe a faker.

wow... pay credit where it's due... Pippen is the man... I always knew he was an amazing player but I never liked the bulls of that era due to the rivalry with the Knicks and because of all the bandwagon around them but taking the fandom apart years later I find this video of Pippen and I'm just amazed with the skill. He was top top quality but I guess he was overshadowed by MJ and looking at the NBA now I can't find a single player to compare with Pippen.

Most players want to be like Jordan, but most players can't even be like Pippen. Honestly, Pippen wasn't as great as Jordan, but he still is one of the best players of all time. His defense, ball control, spot up threes, and tenacity are the reason why him and Jordan were the only players on all 6 of the Bulls championship teams. The Yin Yang!
