Have you done any other mods to your Blues Junior? I've heard that they are hard on tubes, so many people install bias pots. Any truth to this? Thanks, and beautiful playing. Really inspiring.

I have been thinking about buying a m13 for awhile now, at this moment I am using a Vox VT30, it has several "built in amps" and effects, but do you think I could use the m13 through that, if I set it to a clean sound or should I look for a amp that is not a COMBO?

definately rolled off the high bite the stock Fender Special Design has. this jensen has definately beefed up and warmed your tone in comparison to your previous video. i was deciding between the tweed edition speaker (jensen c12n 8ohm) and a Weber blue dog. I think i might go with this. good video!

I listened to your original speaker version and think that one has more of a U2 sound to it. This has a much fuller sound to it. I think the C12N made your junior grow a little. Nice job.

2 questions-1. are you using herdims? 2-why did you choose that particular speaker upgrade? Is that speaker that the edge uses?

1. yes.

2. This is the upgrade speaker that comes in the Tweed Blues Jr, and was recommended by a friend. I have no idea what Edge has in his Blues Jr.

All I'm using is the Line 6 M13 into the Fender Blues Jr. The M13 is providing all the fx AND the looper. It's a lot of fun, check it out!

What's the delay time?

I don't use delay times. I use delay rhythmic values and I tap in the delay tempo.

This particular video is a dotted 1/8th note at approximate 100bpm.

The chords are D(no 5),Bm7(no5) and Gsus2(no 3).

I'm arpeggiating and at the end of each phrase I'm playing D then C# on the B string.

it gives a warmer sound, much less edgy than the stock (and pretty bad) fender speaker in it...
