I don't know how Ohno cheated. The two Koreans bumped into each other because they were so greedy about the medal and skidded off. It's really sad but Ohno didn't even touch them and he wouldn't have won if one of the Korean skater didn't want to move up.

I actually didn't see the 2002 games so I'm not sure exactly what happened. I will try looking it up. I don't see how Ohno could be a cheater in a sport such as his. Anyone could advance at any time and you have to be respectful of the person who wants to cut inside you...you have to be smart to keep your position or have speed to advance. Either way, it takes skill. If others think that's cheating then, there's no way to make them see otherwise.

I also doubt Apolo is playing dirty. If he was, the referees, judges and the American media would have been all over it. They love to see an American hero fall. I actually didn't see the 2002 games so I'm not sure exactly what happened. I will try looking it up. I don't see how Ohno could be a cheater in a sport such as his. Anyone could advance at any time and you have to be respectful of the person who wants to cut inside you...you have to be smart to keep your position or have speed to advance. Either way, it takes skill. If others think that's cheating then, there's no way to make them see otherwise.

Maybe he is a tiny bit arrogant. He may have been angry at what happened during the game. We don't know exactly what happened and why his comments came out that way. But if you've seen DWTS and other interviews, Ohno does not sound arrogant at all. The French are pretty arrogant people and if you compare what some of their athletes say, what Ohno probably said was not comparable. He probably wants to be like Phelps for the Winter Olympics.

The biggest thing to take away from this is that 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze does not come close to equaling Bonnie Blair's 5 gold and 1 bronze. America is the only country that thinks bronze and silver is on par with gold. The level of proficientcy you have to be at for gold is lightyears ahead of bronze. Winning AFC/NFC championship twice is equal better than winning superbowl? Ohno is far from anything great.

Congrats to junior Lee Jung-soo for his surprise gold in the 1500m! The senior Koreans, Lee Ho-suk and Sung Si-bak.,who crashed into each other not only failed to finish, they FAILED to contain Ohno. They tried to prevent Ohno from breaking away to victory. The Koreans maneuvering and elbowing might be considered interference by some. THAT'S THE SPORT! Crashing was not a matter of being unlucky. the two koreans tripped up because they was being desperate trying to cross the line and wasnt skating cleanly at all. they were even bumping into each other and destroyed their own chances of winning 2nd and 3rd place. just because you win a medal doesnt mean you did it with integrity or because your the best. they had interfere with other people performances to win. and thats what they tried to do, they were even fighting each other to cross the line 1st, which was how both koreans fell down.

Watch the slow-motion clip on NBC and you can see Ohno pushing the Korean (3:43) first. So does that mean Ohno is a cheater? No! It's how the sport is played. If you are ignorant about it, just enjoy it as is and don't say anything. I hate to break it to you, but he's not going to give you a gold star for defending him on youtube.
