Ah, but Red is based off of Ness, the idea of a young looking boy living at home with his mother leaving to journey around with just a backpack. Considering the popularity of Earthbound/Mother is Equal, if not greater than Pokemon, and the similar "E rated game with mature themes" take they both have, it would seem Quote is a bit more influenced by Ness/Ninten than Red.I dunno, just something I felt worth noting XD

Earthbound contains tons of references to copyrighted material. Nintendo refuse to re-release or remake any of the games outside of Japan due to fear of a lawsuit, and the creator refuses to allow them to change all the copyrighted references. As I said, the series is HUGE in Japan. Outside, it is painfully ignored and underrated.

I pictured it as the last boss (no spoilers) dropped Quote and Curly into an arena with a bunch of brainwashed mimigas sitting in the stands and the mimigas are cheering for the battle to rage on. The soft part of the song would be Quote being almost killed but this whole sequence of flashbacks goes through his head and he makes sure he MUST WIN!

Quote and Curly would start the battle with another song, not as epic as this, a battle that you can't win, and when Quote is at 1 Hp, he hears the voices of his friends who helped him in his adventure, and at the same time this song starts, making you hear the sheerings at the same time, an when the music starts, Quote gets his health regenerated and has a new weapon, called "Last Beam" and would be too epic for words, and then the true battle starts...
