This film was truly awful (did my dissertation on the Arthurian legends and reeeeeally dislike when Hollywood tries to do a whole 'truth behind the legend take' - it's supposed to be an allegorical story, leave it be!) but the soundtrack was amazing. Helped by the inclusion of Maire Brennan...

Yes the "Arthurian Legend" has little to do with it but you can't go into the film expecting to see that. This was a different time period entirely, and historical fiction--not a film about a near-religion.
