I like the multiple fake endings during the end of WoB - first you get along with the Espers, but then Kefka comes in and makes life suck again, AAAND then you get this Floating Continent place that looks exactly like a final dungeon, and finally the ultimate surprise in the end.

@Laurelindo Golem + Zoneseek + Carbunkle + Phantom = complete invincibility. Of course, phantom should be used last so that the effects don't get taken away.

dude this is easy if you just do the osmos, rasp method. its simple.

1: cast haste on any characters either healing or using osmos and rasp

2: repeatedly cast rasp or osmos when low on mp and do so for as long as you can

3: when the atma weapon has had all of its mp drained (5000), it will die before reaching its other forms.

@Valientlink ok. the only reason i did it was because i was worried about what i (apparently) missread, which was that it had like 3 forms. from what ive seen on the video, this is false. next time i kill it, ill simply kil it.

@Valientlink that's funny. my friend told me it would never hit VC because of it's rarity as the original for the SNES. Now I'm hoping that Square will do ports of FFIII and FFV on VC cause there are other Japanese ports of some games on NA VC that were originally released only in Japan.

@DragonEXecuTionER It isn't going to hit the wii shop. It has been released on the GBA, SNES, and PSX already. Not to mention there will soon be a 3DS remake for it.

@DragonEXecuTionER the reason ff5 is not going to be released on the wiishop is because the original one was only released in japan. But I agree with you, there´s absolutely no reason to not release ff6 on the virtual console.

Is this guy really that tough? The two toughest bosses for me were Magi Master and Dullahan. I beat Atma Weapon on my first try.

i had this on emulator my internet was down i was so bored i literally grinded to level 45 so when i got to this boss 3 shotted.

@Dude16797452854763 well what did u expect when u saw your brother do it. that makes it more easy when you know what to expect when fighting him. personally i enjoy playing it my first time back in 1995. it was new,fresh and unexpected especially since there were no walkthrough sites like gamefaqs to go to of course u had the guides u could buy but i wasnt interested in that. and atmaweapon was one of many bosses i got owned by and loved ever minute of it. thats why this is my all time fav rpg.

I beat Atma Weapon using the Rasp/Osmose method.

Rasp does damage to MP, while Osmose steals enough MP to refill your MP completely.

You can't cast reflect on all members unless you use the Carbunkl esper. To cure all members, press R or L once the spell is selected

my party is terra because she is so strong, locke because he is unreal with his hawkeye and with black belt almost everytime he gets hit hard he fucks shit up and celes she was my highest level and with the hero ring and a earing her magic power was out of countrol haha

If you casted reflect on the party, why not use magic on all of them and have it bounce off to the boss? Wouldn't that do more damage?

Whether it does less or more, whenever you reflect off of yourself, it cannot be bounced back at you by the opposing party's reflect.

I love Lockes hawkeye weapons, they are so deadly at higher lvls :D

Plus this guy was one of the hardest when I fought him the first time.

Each of my ppl were around lvl 20-25, i think it was edgar(chainsaw), locke (for stealing purposes because dragons on the FC holds genji gloves), sabin (blitz and he was super deadly XD), and Shadow for his awesome dmg and hes badass.

i dont understand how people get there with there charavcters so low is it because you've alreayd played the game and you just walk throught it all i just started playing it for the first time and when i got to that guy everybody in my party was level 40+ haha i dont understnad how i managed to get them that hi i killed this guy so easely celes learned ice 3 by the time i got to him hahaha

to keep shadow you have to stay on the island and right before the timer goes to zero he appears. gah wish i knew this back in the day.

when you enter the floating continent you'll only be allowed three but then shadow joins you.
