So, basically just like every other SSX game except the selecting playlists to specific events.

SSX games before this one also remixed the music as you did stuff. Get in the air and the music only plays one channel of the track. If it slows down... I think I like how SSX 3 did it. One channel > slowed down derping.

The soundtracks for SSX3 and On Tour were IMMENSE. I really loved those. Especially in 3 with the way it changed depending on what you were doing. Glad to see that system return, it really added a lot to the experience. The upload system sounds really awesome too, can't wait to hear how my music sounds remixed like that! But yeah, you can keep you dubstep to yourself. No thanks.

PS3 totally supports custom soundtracks. Burnout Paradise supports it. I know for a fact cause i spent two days uploading ALL my music from my computer to get it in the game haha. But any multiplatform game on xbox that has custom soundtracks will have the same feature on PS3. most multiplatform games are exactly the same. The only big difference being colors, and resolution and even then, most devs are getting good about not making a shitty PS3 port.
