I don't know the exact amount, but if I remember correctly, it was somewhere around $150K. George Soros spent more then $24.5M trying to defeat Bush. Most people can't compete with billionaires either.

ok so you target is trying to sway an election look at (Mr. soros) who funds yore beloved move on .org really who pushed this law through that allows them to even contribute money and target is doing what is in their best interest i think all you people need to get a life the DFL does the same thing and worse look who are president is raising are debt tremendously i think all you protesting need to go home educate your self on these issue

I'm going to Target today & buy a laptop to upload on youtube to show all the things that I bought. Blu- ray player, Big flat screen TV, clothes, expensive, needless things I already own And then RETURN THEM a day before the return policy expires. And if the ask why I'll just tell them I don't like the company's politics. Oh, boy! Shopping spree today! & I encourage you all to do the same!

Target contributed to Emmer's campaign because he is pro-business and his opponent Mark Dayton is not. It didn't have anything to do with social issues, they are simply doing what is in the best interest of the company which is headquartered in Minnesota. Mark Dayton will drive business and jobs out of the state, Emmer will not, period.
