these guys are the most amazing kids i have ever met, they are all so beautiful and have wonderful voices!nothing compares to these, it is such a worthy cause to give to and definately a life changing experience to visit if possible!everyone that knows me cant shut me up about the miracles that flood from this God centred place!...if im not mistaken i was there when this video was taken.... :D
Onesmo and the children mainly write their own songs and compose their own music and work out their own dance routines. When the group visit the UK they sing some English songs.
Which is the best Missa Luba chorus and we might give it a try.
All the choruses are great - but the Sanctus is beautiful and suitable for kids' voices, and you can find at least two Jarvis Cocker choir versions of it on YouTube: search for Missa Luba 1 and Missa Luba 2 (recording quality is poor, but beauty of music just about comes through). Good luck. Linda.
Great! I look forward to it. It's worth listening to the original 1965 version by Les Troubadours du Roi Baudoin (for full details Google for 'Wikipedia Missa Luba'). You and the kids will love it, I promise. Linda.
Further to my recommendation of the 1965/68 Phillips recording of Missa Luba, I find it is out of print, and the current version has bad reviews. If you can't find it, and if you care to contact me via my channel messages system, I shall try to arrange to send you (free of course) the 1965 Congolese recording of the Sanctus. Linda.
At the moment 8 of the Tanzanian students are over in the UK and we are a little busy. Will contact you in the near future when we get the time. Thanks for the offer anyway
I wish i can see these kids they're so awesome and they have nice voices.. God bless ya'll

Thank you for this. Great dancing, great musicality, great joy. Any chance of you teaching them a chorus from the Missa Luba?
