i'm a major jess fan but..

i was a dean fan until season 4.

you really have to think about him.

if he could cheat on lindsay who i think was a nice girl on the show

who's to say that if the relationship had kept going after that yale party in season 5 that he wouldn't have cheated on rory too?

plus i think she felt pressured to tell him she loved him.

Dean didn't pressure her to do anything. She's an independent girl, if she didn't want to sleep with him she wouldn't have done it.

And he had every right to be jelous. His girlfriend was hooked on someone else and he just wanted her to love him :(

I thought that the protectiveness was just adorable.

And he does have a brain! He just wasn't as book smart as Jess, but Dean was a smart kid.

Jess was the one who treated Rory badly. He was unreliable whereas Dean was always there for Rory.
