  • @carbonhealth - V-Ray and Maxwell use completely different algorithms.

  • very nice tutorial but can anyone help me with the render settings ? i don't know how to make the colors better and much higher.....please send messages if you wanna help me

  • Holy Wireframe! 12 rendering threads! Is that... 12 cores or what?

  • @PastMilleniumMan 6 core + Hyper Threading...

  • the dispersion is pretty wrong. There must be seven, not three colors.

  • @TheSpiridonoff - You do realise the rainbow doesn't actually have "seven" colours, right? And the image doesn't show three colours, either. Both a real rainbow and the simulation have a virtually infinite number of intermediate colours, showing the spectrum of the light source. Search Google Images for "natural science prism" to see some real photos.

  • @carbonhealth yeah is nice to see that maxwell is learned something from vray to ;) like realtime preview in new version of maxwell

  • Can you please share your settings for Caustics in scene Dispersion on pyramid? scene? What computer you used for this render, my render times are many times longer than your here? :)

  • that is incredible! love the Dark Side of the Moon effect AKA dispersion
