Bueno, la que hizo el video no tenía ni p....idea de lo que puso....Tilo Wolff de Lacrimosa interpreta (como invitado) junto con Dreams of Sanity y su vocalista Sandra Schleret una versión de "El fantasma de la opera", versión que está incluida en su álbum de 1999, titulado "Masquerade", editado por la discográfica independiente Hall of Sermon.....ya???

Hasta ahora solo conocía la versión de Nightwish y me quedo con esa, aunque quiero saber de todos modos cuál es la original, es decir, quién la sacó primero y quién hizo el cover.

Aunque me gusta más la versión de Nightwish no critico ni insulto esta versión, también es respetable como todas las canciones de buen metal.

@sadajuyar0 Pues hasta la fecha siguen habiendo versiones, y no es de Nightwish ni de Dreams of Sanity esta pieza, ya que muchos creen que porque Tilo Wolff canta aqui es de Lacrimosa, pero no, dèjame anunciarte que esta pieza ha sido mayormente interpretada en teatro por diferentes adaptaciones, el tema fue creado para las mismas obras, asi que las versiones tanto de Nightwish como de Dreams of Sanity (y no Lacrimosa como la mayoria cree) y otras muchas bandas son meras veras veriones...

I think the singing is fantastic. Tilo Wolff of Lacrimosa has a voice that fits the Phantom superbly, it sounds dark, uncomfortable.

I remember reading the unabridged version of a book called The phantom of the Opera. The best damn book I read most songs are actaully based on this book. You should read it I forget who it is by but it is a really good book long but good.

bueno el tema es de dreams of sanity/lacrimosa, eso todos lo saben aparece la misma version en los disco de cada grupo. el video es de una pelicula y no es el video del tema.

en todo caso, el tema es buenisimo..

El video no es de una película, de hecho es el video original. Precisamente la canción fue escrita por ALW especialmente para Sarah Brightman a quien pertenece tanto la canción como el video.

Sarah Brightman fue esposa de Andrew y ella fue la primera Cristine, todas las piezas de la obra fueron escritas especialmente para Sarah Brightman tanto musical como sentimentalmente, especialmente The music of the night. Y pues, Sarah Brightman canta desde hace muchos años, desde los inicios del newwave y darkwave, a los 17 conoció a ALW, ahora tiene 47 creo. El fantasma de la ópera fue la segunda obra de Symphonic Metal u Opera Rock, la primera fue Jesucristo Superestrella del mismo ALW.

SARAH, is an awful soprano with little talent. She has set a poor standard for popular opera. Sandra is light years ahead of her. Mostly through her masterful use of vibrato.
