Say what you want about Bobby Clarke, but there wasn't a GM in the league back then that would have loved to have him on their team.When he won the Hart trophy a few times they should have changed it to to the HEART trophy, because no player in the history of the NHL consistently worked as hard as him.

@EfnetCarsgtr2League never respected the game? he was perhaps THE most passionate player of the entire 70's. you don't play that hard and work that hard if you don't love and respect hockey. the guy almost single handedly inspired an entire team to bring 2 cups home in the mid 70's, at at a time with other stronger teams dominating, no one gave the flyers a chance in hell.

you show your respect to the league and the sport itself by how fucking hard you work when you lace up the boots.
