Its good to believe in love, justice, beauty in life. All these r gifts from God.To say one doesnt believe in God especially at young age is making a quick decision. Is it based on some life experiences, books or philosophy taught by someone?Sometimes life seems unfair and God seems nowhere to be found.Jesus waits patiently for poeple to open their hearts to Him & wishes to help them with problems in life.People should at least be open saying, possibly God may exist.& if doubt ask God help to believe
I USED TO NO BELIEVE IN A GOD THEN I ROLLED WITH MY NINJA JESUS CHRIST WHEN THE BLACK PEOPLE ATTACKED ME SO HE BLINDED THEM ALL WITH HIS HOLY LIGHT AND TOLD ME TO SPREAD THE WORD TO ALL YOU FAGGOTS
You could repent. Moreover, you could ask God for eternal forgiveness through applying the death and resurrection of Jesus to your life of sin within the quietness of your bedroom tonight. As an unrepentant sinner myself, I made this decision around 15 years ago. This is the most important decision that you could ever make. - Romans 10:9-10
If one accepts Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior -- and does their best to live a holy and righteous life (because that's what Jesus is) -- then all the sins become washed away and one has eternal paradise with God(!!!) ... to look forward to when their spirit leaves this world.
Jesus, who was a carpenter in this world, also says that He builds each person a mansion that is theirs to keep. (One can't begin to imagine how plush and beautiful those mansions must be!)
I care because I love you ! for God has loved me first so I love you , not because I'm good , or better. God loves you and I because He is LOVE , and that's what love does....
I feel sorry 4 u girl; u don't know where yr heading. I'm telling u; u better believe theirs a God and he's got a son who died on the cross so we can be save from the fire oh hell..Believe me; u don't wanna go there, thousands of pple already experience hell, they believed and they change their life and follow Jesus, because they don't want to go back to that horrible place. if u don't believe me, go on ( To hell and back.) this is a real pple's true story, this is no joke. Girl i want to help u
@tonganfoilole69 Fuck your God. If having a lack of belief in this so called "God" due to no evidence to support his existence has me being tortured and burned forever after I die then he is not a loving God. I feel sorry for you're diluted mind trying to threaten others that they will go to hell. Listen to yourself. See that this is not right.
Everything you stated you believe in, is belief in the Aesir, gods of beauty, wisdom, love. If you beleive that love for instance is more than just a set of chemical reactions in your brain, and is a shared experience that binds us all together, then you believe it is a supernatural essence.. a god.. that dwells inside of us and is made up of the sum of love found in everyone. so you are the dwelling house of part of Freyja...and like a cake has many ingredients, you are made of many gods
Whether u admit it or not EVERYONE KNOWS GOD EXISTS: ROMANS 1:16-32. JOHN 3:16-36. JOHN 12:27-50. GENESIS chapters 1,2,3. GENESIS 2:5. PROVERBS 15:28. HEBREWS 1:1-14. Seems strange that u deny belief in God yet u then make a video 2tell the world. IT'S MORE LIKELY ACCORDING 2THE SCRIPTURES I HAVE GIVEN THAT U WOULD PREFER 2 NOT ACKNOWLEDGE GOD BECAUSE U WANT 2B SELF-WILLED. 2TIMOTHY 3:1-17. The choice is yours. God won't force u 2acknowledge Him or His Son Jesus who is the Saviour of the world.
@smurfboywv I'd like to see your proof that there is a god... He hasn't done anything for me, therefor he does not love all his "children" and there for he is not.
@DoodKickass You have no faith, nor do you believe, you continue to reject him so of course you haven't had anything happen, God will not be mocked. If you truly want to know him you've got to prove to him your trustworthy and put your faith in him.
so many saying bad things about god.... and blame him for all the problems in the world... war, famine, natural disaster... not only that blaming this on god proves that u believe in god.... but that fact that u blame him for every problem but not once count ur blessings.... is just plain ignorant..
Ok, if anything don't believe in any other God, but the powerful God of heaven & Jesus Christ. Read the bible, it explain's nothing less than truth. You can feel loved & all these things with the Lord. Start by asking for forgiveness & thanking god for his forgiveness. Jesus & God love you no matter what. So you are not alone, there are plenty of people that feel like you but you shouldn't feel this way there is a good way in life, and I assure you that it is life with Jesus & god.
I like how he uses music that derived from religion, and a painting that depicts religious beliefs... in his video about not believing in God. I believe... not only in God... but in a better education system. So that people may understand hypocrisy.
Lack of faith is a strange thing to make a video on! Most people don't parade their weaknesses around in public, like this video maker! So what is his motive for making such a video about what is esentially a private position?
@faithbyloving Lack of faith is weakness? You've got to be kidding. I assume you don't have faith in Santa Claus or Big Foot. Do you really think rejecting faith in imaginary beings is a weakness? Or is the rejection of fantasy and acceptance of reality a sign of a strong mind? Wake up. Faith in things that are unproven and too fantastic to be real is a sign of intellectual strength. Do you really think a bronze age human sacrifice and eating pieces of Jesus meat can wipe away anyone's sins?
@emaildoctor Yes, of course its a weakness. If I right now said I have lack of faith, I would be in a position of great weakness instead of great strength. No one has faith in Santa Claus or Big Foot, although I do acknowledge that it is a fascination of Dawkinsians, together with tooth fairies, flying spaghetti monsters, gods of gaps, greek gods, mythology and delusions, all of which its followers copy one another in using the same words for lack of their own imagination.
@emaildoctor "rejecting faith in imaginary beings" is fair enough. I do this too and so should you. I also agree that acceptance of reality is a sign of a healthy mind. Thats why I accept the reality of God instead of fighting it like Dawkinsians do. You said "Faith in things that are unproven and too fantastic to be real is a sign of intellectual strength" - so I take it that faith in God is a sign of intellectual strength, excepting of course that you realise He is real?
@faithbyloving In order to claim a belief is founded in reality you must have real evidence. Everything in the bible is at best multi-party hearsay that has been transcribed by nameless monks with a Jesus agenda for hundreds of years. We have many more first hand eye-witness accounts of alien abduction than we do 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hand accounts of jesus' life and the resurrection yet you reject alien abduction and accept the resurrection. Where is your evidence.
@emaildoctor re "alien abduction" - I don't know what valid eye witness accounts there are. I didn't say I reject alien abduction. I am no expert in that field, so I am not qualified to comment on it. My "field" or interest is in Christ. I am very satisfied that there are so many accounts of Jesus, life, mission and crucifixion etc, that I personally have no doubts whatsoever. The list of accounts of Jesus is very long indeed, but it takes some serious study if you want to know the truth!
@emaildoctor ...and that leads me to my next question: Do you want to know the truth about Jesus or is it something you would rather dismiss without considering it, whether it is true or not? If you don't want to know whether it is the truth or not, then I will respectfully leave you to your own wishes. I have no desire to "force anything on you", as Christians are so often accussed of. Is that Ok? If you do want to know, then I will start to produce a very long list of evidence for you.
@emaildoctor re "eating pieces of Jesus meat" - no one eats Jesus meat. It isn't available to eat and if it was, no one would eat him. The sharing of the Bread and Wine is a purely symbolic celebration remembering Jesus sacrifice for you, sort of like when someone has a birthday and people eat cake to remember them. Nothing more. However, it is a very sobering time as we reflect on his Love for us, voluntarily giving his life for you. Come to think of it, would you give your life for Him?
@faithbyloving Is your Jesus really dead? How could he have given his life for me and still be alive. Such a deal! He gets to claim he gave his life like some kind of army hero or martyr who's really dead and then he goes right on living. As far as Jesus meat goes the words "This is my body and this is my blood" say it all and millions of christians believe the bread and wine are transformed magically into the actual body and blood of christ. Or don't you consider catholics christians?
@emaildoctor He gave his physical life for you, not his spiritual life. Jesus said "I am the Resurrection and the life, whoever believes in me, even if he is dead, yet shall he live" (John 11:25). Yes, Catholics have adopted some wrong beliefs since the 19 century regarding the bread and wine being "transformed into Jesus". I apologise to you on their behalf, but it is wrong completely. Its was never meant to be anything other than remembering Jesus symbolically.
@faithbyloving I know the truth about Jesus because reason tells me that virgins don't give birth to gods (even though many ancient believers claimed this about their various gods), I know that humans don't walk on water, I know no one rises from the dead because I'm an M.D. and I know what cell death means, it destroys the physical basis for living organs like the brain and heart. No living brain tissue equals no human life. Once you're dead your cells are dead and cease to function.
@emaildoctor Hi. You "know the truth about Jesus"? Oh, I'm really excited to hear what you have to say then! So what is the truth about the Resurrection of Jesus and his subsequent appearance to so many of his followers? How did this happen, as you have the truth about him?
@emaildoctor Remember, one who knows the truth, is able to say exactly what happened and how....not like muslims who say against all the many testimonies that Jesus wasn't even crucified, but are unable to say exactly "what happened and how!" (not withstanding that neither you, nor the authors of the Quran were there to witness either the crucifixion or the resurrection)
@emaildoctor Just to correct you sir, the Bible mentions nothing about anyone giving birth to 'gods', anywhere in its text. So your comment there has no relevance at all to the the Bible. Regarding walking on water, you say you 'know that humans don't', but offer no explanation as to why Jesus did on this occasion.
@emaildoctor Regarding rising from the dead, it was not possible that Jesus could have remained alive after such a severe punishment, yet his tomb was empty and he appeared to many people. You say you "know the truth about Jesus", but offer no explanation as to how this happened. It doesn't sound like you know the truth at all, if you don't know what happened!
@emaildoctor Also, I know the truth about Richard Dawkins. He is walking on egg shells for his rationality and he is beginning to sink, yet no one here is saying that he did'n't walk on egg shells!
there is a god we arent wasting are time do u really think that some1 would write all of that for no reason nooooo no one wld waste thousdands of years for no reason i would like to brink you closer to god so that u may dwell with him and me in heaven and not go to hell with the devil and burn for ever so contact me and i will lead you toward chris
god said he would never punish his ppl again after the flood ... get ur facts right ... and if a god did punish his ppl what kind of god is that .. not one to have hope in .. religion does nothing but bad things in this world .. tells us to hate gays and .. not have round hair cuts... not to have sefe sex... no tattoos...no Polyester, or any other fabric blends... yeh .. this god u speek of.. is a bit of a control freak and does this cuz the gay guy has a bowl cut taoos and polyester on.
Why as a society we must feel eveyone has to belive .. Why must one make be believe in something .. When I don't .. Belive in what u do? Just leave it we all r diffenrt ..
What I find fascinating is the even though there is so much evidence out here, in the form of videos, articles, and logical arguments documented meticulously, Theists are still too obstinate / stupid / in denial to read outside of their religious literature or even begin to question their precious books. That is what separates a theist from an atheist - the sheer naivete and lack of questioning of anything - the blind, willfully ignorant, acceptance of the mental illness of faith.
The reason you are so defensive is that deep down inside you know that god isn't real either. Perhaps one day you will wake up and start to realise you are brainwashed.
Fact is god isn't real. No amount of lying can make me believe in your mental illness. You can rant and rave all you like, but at the end of the day God is a figment of your imagination and religion is entirely a pack of lies.
@stepchangeable u say that with all the evidence out there for atheism bla bla bla, ok, what about all the evidence out there for God? you ignore that evidence because you fear God. you hate God and you know that you will be judged. you dont really believe that Nothing created everything, you just WANT to believe it because its better than the alternative. i know your not that stupid to think that something can come from nothing.
@stepchangeable I'm curious about the evidence you speak of.The Darwin people say that we came down out of the trees in Africa at a time that geologists now say had Africa under water.Geneticists are now saying that we have more in common with whales and pigs than we do with primates. The big bang theory has been tanked. No one can explain how the first living organisms began. What evidence? It would seem that the scientific theories get more weak ,the more our science advances.Ironic isn't it.
i never have and never will believe in god because its simply not real. you dont need to think there is a god to still have natural emotions like love.
@quarterexchange well, they are liberal because they have no moral standard and they are able to shift their opinion of right and wrong with however the wind blows. since right now the popular thing is to be liberal then they shift to liberal thinking.
the bible says "a fool says in his heart there is no God" Psalm 14:1
Winston Churchill said, “If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain.”
@freeze32007 Winston Churchill was also an incredibly abusive alcoholic, and just as an example of what socialism can do, Norway is the richest country per capita in the world and guess what, they are full on socialist. As with the rest of Europe who even when rioting in the streets have their economies gutting ours like a wild pig.
@freeze32007 The major complaint you have about atheists is their political views ? Put the fucking crack pipe down and show me where in the definition of "lack of belief in god" it says you have to be a "moral-less liberal"? ideal liberals actually give a shit about society, where as ideal republicans tend to only give a shit about themselves. The bible was written by idiots - the same idiots that believe in god, isn't exactly going to convince anyone intelligent..
@stepchangeable when did i say what my "major complaint" was? you must FIRST learn to read, then criticize. i never said you cant have morals, i said you have no moral STANDARD. again, learn to read. you give a crap because you are borrowing from our morals or some other religion. all your morals are relative so there really is no "right" or "wrong" just whatever you choose at the time and it can flow with the wind. thts why you dont like murder, but you like abortion. flows w the wind. ; )
@freeze32007 Morals exists whether the stupidity of religions prevail or not. Religion doesn't own morals - people do. This is the kind of shit that brainwashed theists have a hard time understanding.
@stepchangeable lol any morals that come from man are relative. its a simple fact that cannot be changed. if we can make up our own morals then there is no absolute right and wrong. yes there are morals w/o God, but they are all relative. yours are no better than mine. this is the kind of crap brainwashed atheists have a hard time understanding. ;)
@freeze32007 Here's a hint - the morals, the idiots who follow religion religion subscribe to are more fucked up than the rest! Its because they stem of baseless fairytales (which stupid theists continue to belief) Its a pity theists have a hard time understanding that their religion is basically work of pure fiction written by human beings with no merit whatsoever in the real world.
@stepchangeable and i see you side steped the abortion issue! so, you agree that murder is wrong but abortion is right? what a hypocrite! and you have the nerve to talk about Christians! go play bro! why do you feel the need to bash people for their beliefs? you are a bigot also! a hypocritical bigot! you should be ashamed of yourself!
@freeze32007 I'm assuming you are anti-choice on abortion - most religious idiots tend to be. Not because they've actually researched the issue - its simply because the religion says so, and the religion is always correct and right...etc. LMAO. Religion results in a lot of retarded opinions, but then again, we can't have people thinking for themselves, or horror of horrors people might actually start realising religion is a pile of worthless made up shit!!!
@stepchangeable who said anything about religion? i said murder is wrong and i assume you agree. yet you believe that its ok to kill unborn babies (murder). you are a hypocrite! the FACT is that it is a HUMAN. that has nothing to do with religion. that is scientific fact. it is not a dog or a cat. we are ALL a collection of tissue and cells. so again i say, you are a hypocrite and your morals are not based on anything solid just simply what ever you feel like doing.
@freeze32007 You are yet another generic ill informed theist who thinks they know how to define what is alive and what is dead. You are also ignorant of the fact that its your religious brainwashing that drives your opinion on this matter. I have no intention of arguing with you on what your programming has designed you to believe. So go an talk and sing to yourself to save all the souls of the abortions that happen all around the world that are part of god's plan LMAO.
@stepchangeable and im not anit-choice im anti-MURDER. infanticide is wrong no matter how old, or young a baby is or do you think its ok to kill babies as long as they are young enough?
@stepchangeable oh, and you STILL side stepped the issue! your morals are relative are they not? its a yes or no question. are morals relative or absolute? please, dont try to wiggle around the issue any longer. be a man. step up and defend your position with actual points not just emotional rants against religion.is that all you got? anger and hatred is your best defense? your weak dude! and you call Christians weak minded hahahahaaha
@freeze32007 All morals are relative you fucking tool. Religious morals are like if all existing morals were put on a roulette wheel and it spun several times - random insane cherrypicked horseshit. Then you take your morals and fuck them up some more and hey presto - a bunch of a gay hating, women hating, murderous right wing, self righteous ignorant in bred tossers who use religion to back up their fucked up prejudices. Theists are sick fucks.
@stepchangeable i just loooove your expanded vocabulary lol. if all morals are relative, then how is it wrong to be a "gay hating, women hating, murderous right wing, self righteous ignorant in bred tosser"? and you show your ignorance because Jesus taught us to hate NO ONE. just because some fake christian hates a gay person does not mean thats what Jesus taught. but again, you are a hypocrite because u say in one breath that all morals are relative yet at the same time call someone wrong! lol
@freeze32007 I choose to not kill people. I choose to not murder people. I make these choices because the alternative would result in misery and death for both me and other around me. I don't need a mental illness to tell me not to do harmful things. Theists are so confused by morals its a wonder that they even function in the real world. I suppose they don't really and that's why they choose to believe in the fantasy of religion.
@stepchangeable thats great that you choose to do those things, but since all morals are relative, then its simply your opinion and ur choice of actions are no better or worse than a person who chooses to do the opposite. who says misery and death is a bad thing? that is how the entire world operates! and since according to u we are just animals who think alot then what makes a human who wants to take things by force a bad human?
@freeze32007 there is no such thing as a universal good or bad. That is part of the theist's limited mind that is unable to comprehend a world without absolutes. After all it is a mental illness.
@stepchangeable u say there is no universal good or bad and then you go on to say that hitler was bad because he murdered 6m jews. and you obviously seem to think that pain and suffering is universally bad. do you think its universally bad to molest children or is it ok in some circumstances? lol you talk alot about education but u seem to lack basic common sense in this area.
@freeze32007 In reference to your point about fake christians, I would urge you to look up the "No True Scotsman" logical fallacy. Also, the Wrong you are referring to was used by me in the correct way - wrong - incorrect - not correct. As in the theist stated something that was false. The Wrong you are taking to mean is in reference to the ideas of Right & Wrong - Universally Right & Wrong - ie Judging somebody...so these are Two Different Wrongs !!! still I give you 1 credit for questioning me
@stepchangeable the scotsman deal does not apply to the point i made. Jesus very clearly said not to hate anyone. so if you hate someone then you are not being christian. period. hate, murder, lying, stealing, jealousy, greed, promiscuity, adultery, racism, sexism, child molesting, rape, ect these are NOT christian behavior and no matter how a christian feels, he is NOT allowed to do any of these. so if a person commits these acts and is not repentant then they are fake! crystal clear.
@freeze32007 Your limited theist mind can't link "fake christians" (your opinion) with the no true scotsman? Then you are indeed too dumb to be an atheist. I suggest an education and getting unbrainwashed from your cult. Who is Jesus? Talk about random morals...its some dead guy who probably never existed anyway. And christians tell us he loves us all. That is fucking creepy shit. By the way, christian literature details how to keep slaves and beat your children.
@stepchangeable its not that my "limited theist mind" cant link it, its that your analogy does not apply. if there is a list of standard qualities listed in the bible that define a christian and a person claiming to be a christian does not fit that list, then they are fake. there are some NON STANDARD qualities that we can put our own opinions on but that list i mentioned above is NOT up for debate. its a standard list. i implore you to educate yourself. your ignorance is amazing!
@stepchangeable as for Jesus, no serious historian or archeologist will say that He did not exist. this is an established fact. please educate yourself. it is also an established fact that his tomb is empty. you can say you believe His body was stolen or that He never really died but u would be exposing your ignorance of history even further than you already have. please, get your head out of your atheistic fantasy world and see the real facts. u have sooo much anger for someone so "free".
@stepchangeable i would urge you to actually learn about the evidence of God and the fallacy of atheism. i have some good videos on my playlist page and in my favorites. ive tried ur way and it failed. well, i was an agnostic not really an atheist because even at my worst i had enough common sense to know that "something" does not come from "nothing" (this includes gravity) so if it is a fact that the universe had a beginning, then it had a cause (gravity too).
@freeze32007 God isn't real and religion is bullshit. End of story. I don't wish to entertain your mental illness any further. There is no evidence for the existence of god. In the entire history of the earth there isn't even a shred of evidence for anything related to religion because its all a pack of lies designed to control the weak minded, like yourself. People who follow religion are wasting their lives and religious and spiritual activities have no value to society.
@stepchangeable so you believe that Nothing created Everything? is that what ur telling me? you actually believe that? so why hasnt it ever been observed in real time? why has Nothing ever created Anything ever again? lol your faith is strong young grasshoppa lmbo!! i love atheists yall are so cute. ur faith is amazing!
@stepchangeable You might want to actually read the bible before you comment as to it's comments. This may help to prevent you looking so foolish in the future.
@stepchangeable so, since all morals are relative, is it ok to molest children? is it ok to rape? is it ok to murder? is it ok to hate people for their race? i mean, if all morals are relative, then YOU may think its wrong, but thats YOUR morals. that may work for you, but what if it dont work for me? why are you trying to push your morals off on me? keep your religion to yourself.
@freeze32007 What do you mean by OK? Permitted? Allowed? Empowered? Universally Good? Correct? I suggest you study the meanings of the key words in your sentences so that you can get clear on this issue for yourself.
The problem with religion is its adherence to ideas of Right & Wrong (dogma), instead of adherence to ideas of What Affects People Positively & Negatively (The Real World).
My personal morals are ones based on People rather than random rules of what's Right & Wrong.
@stepchangeable as for dogma, there is a moral absolute. its absolutely wrong to rape, murder, molest, ect. many things can affect people positively and be bad. ex. if i am a drug dealer, then dealing drugs affects ME and my boss positively. it also can affect the user positively. its not the dealers fault that the user is irresponsible and cannot afford their habit and has to rob some1 for $. but its still wrong to be a drug dealer! your rules being based on "people" can adjust and swing...
@freeze32007 the moral absolute only exists in your head - its part of your mental illness and part of the brainwashing that you have undergone or submitted to as a theist.
@stepchangeable ...based on who is in power, wht the majority feels ect. so according to your principle, Hitler did nothing wrong. he was doing something positive. he was eliminating the dregs of society. his doctors were the smartest in the world! he was doing things to bring a perfect society.
now, we all know thats a load of crap and that he was wrong. but we know that because morals are ABSOLUTE! and no matter who is in charge, certain behavior is wrong.
@freeze32007 Also choosing Churchill's view as basis for political opinion throughout your life and claiming to see a pattern is similarly retarded. But I guess all these examples of stupidity should be what we expect from a theist.
@stepchangeable i do not base my political opinion on churchill, it was a simple quote that fit my example. you must be able to see a distinction in this. do not blame me for your inability to distinguish between a quote and a base.
@freeze32007 You form an absolute straw man of relative morals - relative morals cannot define everything absolutely. They can only provide guidelines. In my opinion, harming oneself is okay if discourageable because it's their body, but it damages their ability to be useful for the whole. However, that's just my opinion on the subject. The society people live in should combine opinions and logic to form a shared set of rules - like we do now in the form of elections, debates and whatever else.
@TuucciZ thats a nice sentiment, but it has no weight. relative morals are simply relative. its not a strawman, its a fact. if they are relative, they are relative. you can choose for yourself which ones you want to be your personal absolutes, but if morals come from man they are all relative and the only way to get what you want is to FORCE them on to others. how can you get around that? history proves this fact. how do you call this a straw man argument?
@TuucciZ you want to call them "guidelines" but that is not sufficient. if my "guidelines" say that for example homosexuality is wrong, and i live in a country where the majority of people agree with me, why is it wrong for the majority of us to tell you that you are wrong? oh, thats right, you only want the rules to be what YOU want them to be right?
@TuucciZ you say in the form of an election but im absolutely certain you support the judge that threw out prop 8 in California. you know, the ELECTION where the vast majority of Californians VOTED AGAINST gay marriage. do you respect their vote or not? how bout since the homosexual movement and the civil rights movement are always compared to eachother, what about when the MAJORITY of people voted for slavery in the south? were they wrong? so is it votes and debates or something higher?
@TuucciZ there is something higher than us all who says ABSOLUTELY what is right and what is wrong. anything less is our own personal beliefs which we try to force onto eachother.
1. not a stupid question. its illegal to steal, kill, rape, ect yet people still do it. what law says "you are allowed to steal"? huh?
2. no, wrong, we know what sin is from the old testament. you are wrong.
slavery was not a commandment. nor a requirement. they were not told NOT to have slaves, but they were not instructed to HAVE them either. they were told HOW to treat them. please, know what you are talking about before you attack or address it. thank you.
@imperator332 sorry if you were offended by my telling you to man up. ive never heard a 5 year old say that tho so i dont know where you got that from. but i have to be stern to get a straight answer sometimes. many people will dodge and play childish games if you dont say "hey, man up!" if you were offended, i apologize. i just want a logical exchange of ideas, not a childish rant and rave of emotionalism and opinion.
Yes, I've noticed your own dodge tactics as well. Don't play innocent, it's an insult both to you and me.
"I believe today that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator."
~Mein Kampf Vol 1. Ch 2.
You don't get to play dissociation just because it makes you uncomfortable to be associated with him. Whether you like it or not, he believed in the same God you do, the Judeo-Christian one.
@imperator332 do you not know that pagan religions believe in an almighty creator? do you know who the wiccans believe in for example? come on bro. please.
You're not seriously suggesting Hitler was a pagan....
The belt buckles of the Wermacht were "Gott mit Uns"
"Once again the songs of the fatherland roared to the heavens along the endless marching columns, and for the last time the Lord's grace smiled on His ungrateful children. "
Vol 1, Ch 7.
"Anyone who dares to lay hands on the highest image of the Lord commits sacrilege against the benevolent creator of this miracle and contributes to the expulsion from paradise."
I think you should mine your words first of all. I hope you are mature enough to understand and respect. If you are just here to be nut head and disrespecting a religion, then pls grow up. How abt this, If we Christians are living peacefully and doing what is right...what 'wrong' have we done to deserve a back fire from people like you. Think about it and I mean it.
Killing of Pagans. Murder of "heretics". The Crusades. Spanish Inquisition. Creationism. Colonialism. Persecution. Conquistadors. Blasphemy laws. Witch trials. Holy wars. Oppose gay rights. Abortion doctor killings. abortion clinic bombings. Violence in Belfast. French wars of Religion. Massacre of the Cathars (kill them all, let God sort it out). Rwandan genocide. Lord's Resistance Army (multiple massacres). KKK. Hutaree. Condoms in Africa. Pedophile priests.
@imperator332 You are childish and have not understood how the world works. How about you grow up...till you get some wisdom into your soul. Btw, I don't have to defend my God and it does not matter. You are the one being defensive and offensive. Other then that, i'll leave the rest for you to think for yourself.
@imperator332 One more thing for you to think about kid. If you do believe in what is right..then ask yourself 'am I acting out what's right'. If you think you are, think again. Doing right would be respecting other religion and looking at all your mindless and filthy comments, you give yourself a WICKED SICK reputation to what you have said.
Well I guess this is it then. Thanks for the entertainment.
Always remember what the Bible says:
"I will pour out my wrath upon you and breathe out my fiery anger against you; I will hand you over to brutal men, men skilled in destruction. You will be fuel for the fire, your blood will be shed in your land, you will be remembered no more; for I the LORD have spoken.'" Ezekile 21:32
Anyone who feels they cannot live without some invisible sky daddy in the clouds may as well just end their pitiful existence. Brainwashed, abusive attitudes like that should not be passed along to children anymore. When you threaten children with eternal burning of which there is no proof, that is taking advantage of a young innocent mind and it should be highly illegal. Thats the reason religion is dieing out very fast. People have had it with this murdering God and his dumbass tests.
I'm sorry you don't have a faith. The bible says God is love. Without a faith is like having no meaning in your life...so ask yourself, how did the world began? Who created the laws of nature that allow everything to be as it is. Did an empty universe create itself.
@Shawnium101 I'm sorry you have faith. Jesus orders his disciples to slaughter his enemies in front of him (Luke 19:27).
Your god is not love, he is murderous, envious, jealous, hateful, spiteful, and completely obsessed with people worshiping him. Even if he existed, it'd be immoral to praise him.
And you have been deluded to the point where you cannot see through the smoke screens religion sets up to cover its own ass. I hope one day you'll join us, and the world can be as one. :)
@imperator332LOL, Jesus did not ask his disciples to kill his enemies. Jesus was telling them a parable of how we should make use of our talents to serve others and invest on it rather then keeping it for ourself. I believe you took this from the net...from someone who does not understand the bible. Thank you for your concern on this matter though (:
@Shawnium101 my apologies, I misread the passage. Still, a good lesson from the new testament. of course, the "master" being a metaphor for Jesus anyways, the point there might still stand. Those who don't keep it for yourself, well, "kill" em. "Kill" in quotes, the Greek word is more like "slaughter".
Still, plenty of good old OT passages of God smiting people to choose from, and let's not forget, he did cause one apocalypse already. ;)
@imperator332 (: Yap, thats why we have Jesus to come in our lives. In the OT, God could not bare our sins. He is like a white cloth. Any spot on it must be taken away. The only way to take their sins away was to offer sacrifices. Until Jesus came down as 100% man, 100% God, to take away our sins on the cross. For man to be with God, we need Jesus. Once agn thx for being involved in this issue. You can read up on some theology books, they are pretty deep but really helps you to understand.
Why would God need to come down to earth, sacrifice himself to himself, in order to change a rule he made himself, after a system that he apparently didn't get righ the first time?
@imperator332 Saw that question coming (: Well, If you understand and read the OT clearly, you would understand the significance of blood. During a sacrifice, one must kill the best of it's life stock to be offered to got; asking him for forgiveness. However, sin became too hurting for God to bare. He then send Jesus to die on the cross for us, as the blood of Jesus is righteous. Thus, we have the Holy Communion. (: I would to answer more of your questions anytime! Feel free to ask them.
So God needed a human sacrifice of himself, to himself, to fix the problem he created.
If God himself was the sacrifice, did he really sacrifice anything? I mean, it's not much of a sacrifice for the almighty, lot like if one of us mere mortals sacrificed our lives.
How about just one more, since you brought up the OT:
1. the sacrifice needed to be perfect. a human cannot be perfect so the only logical step would be for God to take on a human body and sacrifice himself. its actually an ultimate form of love. if a solider in battle jumps on a grenade he is given a medal of honor! God "jumped on the grenade" if you will for us. its really a simple concept.
2. God is not really bad in the OT as you would believe. everyone pin points the few verses when he is punishing people but ignore the ones
He sacrificed Himself. he took the punishment. the penalty for sin is death. blood must be shed. He shed His own blood and died Himself. His rising was to defeat death for us to give us eternal life with Him should we choose to accept it. its not about HIS loss, its about OUR gain.
2. as an atheist, how do you say what Hitler did was bad?
Hitler is NOT God. he is not allowed to do what he did. God is allowed to kill HIS creation who turn on Him. big difference.
@imperator332 well what we have here is a difference in viewpoints. so, if u don't mind, could u answer the questions I asked or are u more interested in angry name calling over rational thinking and discussion?
In the end, I believe you should be good for the sake of being good. If you're good only because that armor of religion stops you, you are wicked at the core.
What's more virtuous? Being good because your God told you to? Or being good because it's not nice to be a prick?
I don't steal. Not because a divine command forbids it.
@imperator332 "be good for the sake of being good" sounds real good. but what is "good"? to hitler, killing jews was good. to Stalin, killing millions of christians and anyone in his way was good. to Mao, same thing. to the pope, child molestation apparently was good. to the clan, killing minorities is good. to "pro choice" folks, killing unborn babies is good. to crips n bloods killing eachother over colors is good. you get my picture? what is good? and who says so?
"but what is "good"?" An arbitrary word that has no meaning without context.
Yes, Hitler thought what he was doing was good....because what he thought he was doing was God's work.
Hitler is not a good example for you to use.....
The others are better.
Society determines what is "good". Again, as I already answered (thanks for ignoring it), morals are the product of society and biology. That's why they aren't the same all over, and why they change over time.
@imperator332 PLEASE learn more about hitler. he was NOT christian. he was a pagan. he thought he was doin HIS gods work, but it wasnt the christian God. please inform yourself.
now, you have to explain how the society in hitlers germany was wrong. they agreed and allowed and went along with his plans and actions. so if society says its ok is it ok?
hitler is a GREAT example.
what happens when 2 societies disagree? who is right?
If you need an explanation of why mass murder is wrong, you have issues.
Two societies disagree all the time. Ex: discussions on banning the burka.
When two societies disagree, well they typically go to war and demonize the other. When they're less stupid, they sit down and have an intelligent discussion on what is the right decision to make.
Sometimes a culture gets it wrong (Dredd Scott), sometimes they get it right (Brown vs Board of Edu.)
@imperator332 and if you dont like hitler as an example, how bout stalin, and mao. they were responsible for over 100million deaths and all in the name of communism/atheism. how was their society wrong?
@imperator332 see, the problem with not having a standard set of moral absolutes is that in reality with out them there is no "right and wrong" because everything is relative. you may not like murder, but there are millions of people who do. you may not like stealing but there are millions of people who do. you get my point? so if its all about majority rule what happens when the majority agree that murder is ok? i use murder because its so blatant. i am not foolish enough to think that a
@imperator332 now were talkin! this is what i like, logic not emotionalism.
1. right and wrong are arbitrary you are correct. without a standard they remain arbitrary. biology cannot make morals. it is not a decision making thing. its just a state of being. we may use biology in determining some of our laws. to be fair, i believe that is what you are saying when you say that tho correct? so we will go with that. im also gonna assume you bring it up in the homosexual issue correct? since the
@imperator332 homosexual issue depends largely on religious views, we will not address that issue in this conversation. later we can tho if you'd like.
back to society. if "society" decides what is right and wrong, "society" has to have a standard to say what is right and wrong or else they are just basically making up their own morals.
if they are just making them up, what makes one good and one bad? see, we dont even have a standard of good and bad to make that assessment. thus, with out
@imperator332 a standard, a moral absolute, all morals are relative. if all morals are relative, you CANNOT tell me im wrong and you are right because you havent even told me what right and wrong are yet?
now, as a christian i know that Gods laws are written on our hearts. thats why all around the world, all people know killing, stealing, lying, ect are wrong.
you as an atheist have no moral standard. you believe we are just animals who think alot so where does...
@freeze32007 Personally, I derive my moral standards from hedonism. I know that an anarchistic world - one without moral standards as you describe - could not provide me with happiness. Unlike in our current society, most of my time would be spent on mere survival. What logically follows from this is that a society upheld by a feeling of safety is required to give us all the opportunities for achieving happiness.
@TuucciZ well, see the flaw in this argument is that there are people who are evil and enjoy or choose to live a life of violence. the vikings, the huns for example, modern day mobsters and gang members. you would have to defend yourself from those types of people who are going to be stronger and better fighters than you. there would have to be something more than just your personal desire to be happy to over come that.
the second fatal flaw is that as you said you "personally" choose them...
@freeze32007 i have to admit, i like the way you debate. no anger, insults, or emotionalism. thank you for that. i hope we can continue in this manner throughout this conversation.
@freeze32007 The difference between the most of society and mobsters is that the mobsters are the most selfish ones. Instead of seeing the advantages of co-operative hedonism, they abuse this systems. Fortunately, criminals and other such wrong-doers are often caught and punished if they don't play by the rules - and may I add it can only be done by co-operation, in which case I don't have to be strongest to feel safe.
1.you are looking at this from a modern-day perspective. hunter gathers would have benefited greatly from a rob and steal, survival of the fittest type. even the most early farmers would have.
2.you are placing YOUR type of hedonism higher than theirs. if the rule is to be happy, who are you to stop their happiness? just because you dont want to be hurt does not make ur opinion any higher than theirs. you are pushing your personal beliefs on others. period
@freeze32007 1. Would they have? Even the strongest would've had to use their limited resources for that survival and protecting their goods, instead of, say, beginning to think of early science and philosophy.
2. It is not just my hedonism. If everyone was allowed to go for their good, we would live in an anarchistic society - we have to find a balance between that and limiting freedom to ensure safety. Neither extreme works but the middle is free game, so this is just a general guideline.
1. look at the earths history. there have always been evil oppressive murderous rulers and societies. only war has stopped them, not logic, not rational thinking, war. oh, yea and hedonism! rome for example fell as they became so hedonistic. but science and philosophy stopped nothing even today it takes war to stop those people.
2. the prob still remains that it is RELATIVE and you cant push your own personal beliefs on people, or can you?
@TuucciZ as i have already proven, all human morals are relative. so the only way to tell me that mine are bad is if you can force yours upon me. "might makes right". so your choice of moral standards are nothing more than your choice, there is no right or wrong. if i want to hurt someone, who are you to say im bad? all morals are relative. only if you have the "might" to make me stop hurting people does it become "wrong". so why are you trying to push your personal beliefs on others?
@freeze32007 Of course force plays a big part on our morals - even the idea of absolute morality is often forced onto people. However, back to hedonism. It is an universal human treat - to go for the good of yourself, more or less. Based on this standard, which is pretty much the only universal basis for things like these, harming people is bad, because it saps from the hedonism or others or limits it greatly.
@TuucciZ true, human nature demands "might makes right". even our modern society is ran by might makes right. even God is "might makes right" He created this universe, He has the might He makes the right. but God is not subject to change on a whim like humans so we have a good standard in God we can trust in. man on the other hand will change his opinion depending on the situation.
back to hedonism, who are you to determine the limits of what people can to to make themselves happy?
@freeze32007 I am not one to determine. Our laws are more or less based on what is either logically beneficial for the society, or what has been decided by the people (or their representatives). For example, we can logically argue for that outlawing murder has a beneficial impact on our society - it causes far moer harm than it gives, except in extremely few situations as I explained in a message before. Morals are a combination of pure logic and the average of opinions.

Lack of faith is a strange thing to make a video on! Most people don't parade their weaknesses around in public, like this video maker! So what is his motive for making such a video about what is esentially a private position?
faithbyloving 9 months ago
@faithbyloving Lack of faith is weakness? You've got to be kidding. I assume you don't have faith in Santa Claus or Big Foot. Do you really think rejecting faith in imaginary beings is a weakness? Or is the rejection of fantasy and acceptance of reality a sign of a strong mind? Wake up. Faith in things that are unproven and too fantastic to be real is a sign of intellectual strength. Do you really think a bronze age human sacrifice and eating pieces of Jesus meat can wipe away anyone's sins?
emaildoctor 8 months ago
@emaildoctor Yes, of course its a weakness. If I right now said I have lack of faith, I would be in a position of great weakness instead of great strength. No one has faith in Santa Claus or Big Foot, although I do acknowledge that it is a fascination of Dawkinsians, together with tooth fairies, flying spaghetti monsters, gods of gaps, greek gods, mythology and delusions, all of which its followers copy one another in using the same words for lack of their own imagination.
faithbyloving 8 months ago
@emaildoctor "rejecting faith in imaginary beings" is fair enough. I do this too and so should you. I also agree that acceptance of reality is a sign of a healthy mind. Thats why I accept the reality of God instead of fighting it like Dawkinsians do. You said "Faith in things that are unproven and too fantastic to be real is a sign of intellectual strength" - so I take it that faith in God is a sign of intellectual strength, excepting of course that you realise He is real?
faithbyloving 8 months ago
@faithbyloving In order to claim a belief is founded in reality you must have real evidence. Everything in the bible is at best multi-party hearsay that has been transcribed by nameless monks with a Jesus agenda for hundreds of years. We have many more first hand eye-witness accounts of alien abduction than we do 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hand accounts of jesus' life and the resurrection yet you reject alien abduction and accept the resurrection. Where is your evidence.
emaildoctor 8 months ago
@emaildoctor re "alien abduction" - I don't know what valid eye witness accounts there are. I didn't say I reject alien abduction. I am no expert in that field, so I am not qualified to comment on it. My "field" or interest is in Christ. I am very satisfied that there are so many accounts of Jesus, life, mission and crucifixion etc, that I personally have no doubts whatsoever. The list of accounts of Jesus is very long indeed, but it takes some serious study if you want to know the truth!
faithbyloving 8 months ago
@emaildoctor ...and that leads me to my next question: Do you want to know the truth about Jesus or is it something you would rather dismiss without considering it, whether it is true or not? If you don't want to know whether it is the truth or not, then I will respectfully leave you to your own wishes. I have no desire to "force anything on you", as Christians are so often accussed of. Is that Ok? If you do want to know, then I will start to produce a very long list of evidence for you.
faithbyloving 8 months ago
@emaildoctor re "eating pieces of Jesus meat" - no one eats Jesus meat. It isn't available to eat and if it was, no one would eat him. The sharing of the Bread and Wine is a purely symbolic celebration remembering Jesus sacrifice for you, sort of like when someone has a birthday and people eat cake to remember them. Nothing more. However, it is a very sobering time as we reflect on his Love for us, voluntarily giving his life for you. Come to think of it, would you give your life for Him?
faithbyloving 8 months ago
@faithbyloving Is your Jesus really dead? How could he have given his life for me and still be alive. Such a deal! He gets to claim he gave his life like some kind of army hero or martyr who's really dead and then he goes right on living. As far as Jesus meat goes the words "This is my body and this is my blood" say it all and millions of christians believe the bread and wine are transformed magically into the actual body and blood of christ. Or don't you consider catholics christians?
emaildoctor 8 months ago
@emaildoctor He gave his physical life for you, not his spiritual life. Jesus said "I am the Resurrection and the life, whoever believes in me, even if he is dead, yet shall he live" (John 11:25). Yes, Catholics have adopted some wrong beliefs since the 19 century regarding the bread and wine being "transformed into Jesus". I apologise to you on their behalf, but it is wrong completely. Its was never meant to be anything other than remembering Jesus symbolically.
faithbyloving 8 months ago
@faithbyloving I know the truth about Jesus because reason tells me that virgins don't give birth to gods (even though many ancient believers claimed this about their various gods), I know that humans don't walk on water, I know no one rises from the dead because I'm an M.D. and I know what cell death means, it destroys the physical basis for living organs like the brain and heart. No living brain tissue equals no human life. Once you're dead your cells are dead and cease to function.
emaildoctor 7 months ago
@emaildoctor Hi. You "know the truth about Jesus"? Oh, I'm really excited to hear what you have to say then! So what is the truth about the Resurrection of Jesus and his subsequent appearance to so many of his followers? How did this happen, as you have the truth about him?
faithbyloving 7 months ago
@emaildoctor Remember, one who knows the truth, is able to say exactly what happened and how....not like muslims who say against all the many testimonies that Jesus wasn't even crucified, but are unable to say exactly "what happened and how!" (not withstanding that neither you, nor the authors of the Quran were there to witness either the crucifixion or the resurrection)
faithbyloving 7 months ago
@emaildoctor Just to correct you sir, the Bible mentions nothing about anyone giving birth to 'gods', anywhere in its text. So your comment there has no relevance at all to the the Bible. Regarding walking on water, you say you 'know that humans don't', but offer no explanation as to why Jesus did on this occasion.
faithbyloving 7 months ago
@emaildoctor Regarding rising from the dead, it was not possible that Jesus could have remained alive after such a severe punishment, yet his tomb was empty and he appeared to many people. You say you "know the truth about Jesus", but offer no explanation as to how this happened. It doesn't sound like you know the truth at all, if you don't know what happened!

What I find fascinating is the even though there is so much evidence out here, in the form of videos, articles, and logical arguments documented meticulously, Theists are still too obstinate / stupid / in denial to read outside of their religious literature or even begin to question their precious books. That is what separates a theist from an atheist - the sheer naivete and lack of questioning of anything - the blind, willfully ignorant, acceptance of the mental illness of faith.

i never have and never will believe in god because its simply not real. you dont need to think there is a god to still have natural emotions like love.

Winston Churchill said, “If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain.”
i see a pattern here lol

@freeze32007 Winston Churchill was also an incredibly abusive alcoholic, and just as an example of what socialism can do, Norway is the richest country per capita in the world and guess what, they are full on socialist. As with the rest of Europe who even when rioting in the streets have their economies gutting ours like a wild pig.
assassinsrock 1 year ago
@freeze32007 The major complaint you have about atheists is their political views ? Put the fucking crack pipe down and show me where in the definition of "lack of belief in god" it says you have to be a "moral-less liberal"? ideal liberals actually give a shit about society, where as ideal republicans tend to only give a shit about themselves. The bible was written by idiots - the same idiots that believe in god, isn't exactly going to convince anyone intelligent..
stepchangeable 11 months ago
@stepchangeable when did i say what my "major complaint" was? you must FIRST learn to read, then criticize. i never said you cant have morals, i said you have no moral STANDARD. again, learn to read. you give a crap because you are borrowing from our morals or some other religion. all your morals are relative so there really is no "right" or "wrong" just whatever you choose at the time and it can flow with the wind. thts why you dont like murder, but you like abortion. flows w the wind. ; )
freeze32007 11 months ago
@freeze32007 Morals exists whether the stupidity of religions prevail or not. Religion doesn't own morals - people do. This is the kind of shit that brainwashed theists have a hard time understanding.
stepchangeable 11 months ago
@stepchangeable lol any morals that come from man are relative. its a simple fact that cannot be changed. if we can make up our own morals then there is no absolute right and wrong. yes there are morals w/o God, but they are all relative. yours are no better than mine. this is the kind of crap brainwashed atheists have a hard time understanding. ;)
freeze32007 11 months ago
@freeze32007 Here's a hint - the morals, the idiots who follow religion religion subscribe to are more fucked up than the rest! Its because they stem of baseless fairytales (which stupid theists continue to belief) Its a pity theists have a hard time understanding that their religion is basically work of pure fiction written by human beings with no merit whatsoever in the real world.
stepchangeable 11 months ago
@stepchangeable and i see you side steped the abortion issue! so, you agree that murder is wrong but abortion is right? what a hypocrite! and you have the nerve to talk about Christians! go play bro! why do you feel the need to bash people for their beliefs? you are a bigot also! a hypocritical bigot! you should be ashamed of yourself!
freeze32007 11 months ago
@freeze32007 I'm assuming you are anti-choice on abortion - most religious idiots tend to be. Not because they've actually researched the issue - its simply because the religion says so, and the religion is always correct and right...etc. LMAO. Religion results in a lot of retarded opinions, but then again, we can't have people thinking for themselves, or horror of horrors people might actually start realising religion is a pile of worthless made up shit!!!
stepchangeable 11 months ago
@stepchangeable who said anything about religion? i said murder is wrong and i assume you agree. yet you believe that its ok to kill unborn babies (murder). you are a hypocrite! the FACT is that it is a HUMAN. that has nothing to do with religion. that is scientific fact. it is not a dog or a cat. we are ALL a collection of tissue and cells. so again i say, you are a hypocrite and your morals are not based on anything solid just simply what ever you feel like doing.
freeze32007 11 months ago
@freeze32007 You are yet another generic ill informed theist who thinks they know how to define what is alive and what is dead. You are also ignorant of the fact that its your religious brainwashing that drives your opinion on this matter. I have no intention of arguing with you on what your programming has designed you to believe. So go an talk and sing to yourself to save all the souls of the abortions that happen all around the world that are part of god's plan LMAO.
stepchangeable 11 months ago
@stepchangeable and im not anit-choice im anti-MURDER. infanticide is wrong no matter how old, or young a baby is or do you think its ok to kill babies as long as they are young enough?
freeze32007 11 months ago
@stepchangeable oh, and you STILL side stepped the issue! your morals are relative are they not? its a yes or no question. are morals relative or absolute? please, dont try to wiggle around the issue any longer. be a man. step up and defend your position with actual points not just emotional rants against religion.is that all you got? anger and hatred is your best defense? your weak dude! and you call Christians weak minded hahahahaaha
freeze32007 11 months ago
@freeze32007 All morals are relative you fucking tool. Religious morals are like if all existing morals were put on a roulette wheel and it spun several times - random insane cherrypicked horseshit. Then you take your morals and fuck them up some more and hey presto - a bunch of a gay hating, women hating, murderous right wing, self righteous ignorant in bred tossers who use religion to back up their fucked up prejudices. Theists are sick fucks.
stepchangeable 11 months ago
@stepchangeable i just loooove your expanded vocabulary lol. if all morals are relative, then how is it wrong to be a "gay hating, women hating, murderous right wing, self righteous ignorant in bred tosser"? and you show your ignorance because Jesus taught us to hate NO ONE. just because some fake christian hates a gay person does not mean thats what Jesus taught. but again, you are a hypocrite because u say in one breath that all morals are relative yet at the same time call someone wrong! lol
freeze32007 11 months ago
@freeze32007 I choose to not kill people. I choose to not murder people. I make these choices because the alternative would result in misery and death for both me and other around me. I don't need a mental illness to tell me not to do harmful things. Theists are so confused by morals its a wonder that they even function in the real world. I suppose they don't really and that's why they choose to believe in the fantasy of religion.
stepchangeable 11 months ago
@stepchangeable thats great that you choose to do those things, but since all morals are relative, then its simply your opinion and ur choice of actions are no better or worse than a person who chooses to do the opposite. who says misery and death is a bad thing? that is how the entire world operates! and since according to u we are just animals who think alot then what makes a human who wants to take things by force a bad human?
freeze32007 11 months ago
@freeze32007 there is no such thing as a universal good or bad. That is part of the theist's limited mind that is unable to comprehend a world without absolutes. After all it is a mental illness.
stepchangeable 11 months ago
@stepchangeable u say there is no universal good or bad and then you go on to say that hitler was bad because he murdered 6m jews. and you obviously seem to think that pain and suffering is universally bad. do you think its universally bad to molest children or is it ok in some circumstances? lol you talk alot about education but u seem to lack basic common sense in this area.
freeze32007 11 months ago
@freeze32007 In reference to your point about fake christians, I would urge you to look up the "No True Scotsman" logical fallacy. Also, the Wrong you are referring to was used by me in the correct way - wrong - incorrect - not correct. As in the theist stated something that was false. The Wrong you are taking to mean is in reference to the ideas of Right & Wrong - Universally Right & Wrong - ie Judging somebody...so these are Two Different Wrongs !!! still I give you 1 credit for questioning me
stepchangeable 11 months ago
@stepchangeable the scotsman deal does not apply to the point i made. Jesus very clearly said not to hate anyone. so if you hate someone then you are not being christian. period. hate, murder, lying, stealing, jealousy, greed, promiscuity, adultery, racism, sexism, child molesting, rape, ect these are NOT christian behavior and no matter how a christian feels, he is NOT allowed to do any of these. so if a person commits these acts and is not repentant then they are fake! crystal clear.
freeze32007 11 months ago
@freeze32007 Your limited theist mind can't link "fake christians" (your opinion) with the no true scotsman? Then you are indeed too dumb to be an atheist. I suggest an education and getting unbrainwashed from your cult. Who is Jesus? Talk about random morals...its some dead guy who probably never existed anyway. And christians tell us he loves us all. That is fucking creepy shit. By the way, christian literature details how to keep slaves and beat your children.
stepchangeable 11 months ago
@stepchangeable its not that my "limited theist mind" cant link it, its that your analogy does not apply. if there is a list of standard qualities listed in the bible that define a christian and a person claiming to be a christian does not fit that list, then they are fake. there are some NON STANDARD qualities that we can put our own opinions on but that list i mentioned above is NOT up for debate. its a standard list. i implore you to educate yourself. your ignorance is amazing!
freeze32007 11 months ago
@stepchangeable as for Jesus, no serious historian or archeologist will say that He did not exist. this is an established fact. please educate yourself. it is also an established fact that his tomb is empty. you can say you believe His body was stolen or that He never really died but u would be exposing your ignorance of history even further than you already have. please, get your head out of your atheistic fantasy world and see the real facts. u have sooo much anger for someone so "free".
freeze32007 11 months ago
@stepchangeable i would urge you to actually learn about the evidence of God and the fallacy of atheism. i have some good videos on my playlist page and in my favorites. ive tried ur way and it failed. well, i was an agnostic not really an atheist because even at my worst i had enough common sense to know that "something" does not come from "nothing" (this includes gravity) so if it is a fact that the universe had a beginning, then it had a cause (gravity too).
freeze32007 11 months ago
@freeze32007 God isn't real and religion is bullshit. End of story. I don't wish to entertain your mental illness any further. There is no evidence for the existence of god. In the entire history of the earth there isn't even a shred of evidence for anything related to religion because its all a pack of lies designed to control the weak minded, like yourself. People who follow religion are wasting their lives and religious and spiritual activities have no value to society.
stepchangeable 11 months ago
@stepchangeable so you believe that Nothing created Everything? is that what ur telling me? you actually believe that? so why hasnt it ever been observed in real time? why has Nothing ever created Anything ever again? lol your faith is strong young grasshoppa lmbo!! i love atheists yall are so cute. ur faith is amazing!
freeze32007 11 months ago
@stepchangeable You might want to actually read the bible before you comment as to it's comments. This may help to prevent you looking so foolish in the future.
rob4lah 11 months ago
@stepchangeable so, since all morals are relative, is it ok to molest children? is it ok to rape? is it ok to murder? is it ok to hate people for their race? i mean, if all morals are relative, then YOU may think its wrong, but thats YOUR morals. that may work for you, but what if it dont work for me? why are you trying to push your morals off on me? keep your religion to yourself.
freeze32007 11 months ago
@freeze32007 What do you mean by OK? Permitted? Allowed? Empowered? Universally Good? Correct? I suggest you study the meanings of the key words in your sentences so that you can get clear on this issue for yourself.
The problem with religion is its adherence to ideas of Right & Wrong (dogma), instead of adherence to ideas of What Affects People Positively & Negatively (The Real World).
My personal morals are ones based on People rather than random rules of what's Right & Wrong.
stepchangeable 11 months ago
@stepchangeable as for dogma, there is a moral absolute. its absolutely wrong to rape, murder, molest, ect. many things can affect people positively and be bad. ex. if i am a drug dealer, then dealing drugs affects ME and my boss positively. it also can affect the user positively. its not the dealers fault that the user is irresponsible and cannot afford their habit and has to rob some1 for $. but its still wrong to be a drug dealer! your rules being based on "people" can adjust and swing...
freeze32007 11 months ago
@freeze32007 the moral absolute only exists in your head - its part of your mental illness and part of the brainwashing that you have undergone or submitted to as a theist.
stepchangeable 11 months ago
@stepchangeable ...based on who is in power, wht the majority feels ect. so according to your principle, Hitler did nothing wrong. he was doing something positive. he was eliminating the dregs of society. his doctors were the smartest in the world! he was doing things to bring a perfect society.
now, we all know thats a load of crap and that he was wrong. but we know that because morals are ABSOLUTE! and no matter who is in charge, certain behavior is wrong.
freeze32007 11 months ago
@freeze32007 He killed 6m jews - thats a lot of suffering. Where the fuck do you get your logic from??
stepchangeable 11 months ago
@freeze32007 Also choosing Churchill's view as basis for political opinion throughout your life and claiming to see a pattern is similarly retarded. But I guess all these examples of stupidity should be what we expect from a theist.
stepchangeable 11 months ago
@stepchangeable i do not base my political opinion on churchill, it was a simple quote that fit my example. you must be able to see a distinction in this. do not blame me for your inability to distinguish between a quote and a base.
freeze32007 11 months ago
@freeze32007 You form an absolute straw man of relative morals - relative morals cannot define everything absolutely. They can only provide guidelines. In my opinion, harming oneself is okay if discourageable because it's their body, but it damages their ability to be useful for the whole. However, that's just my opinion on the subject. The society people live in should combine opinions and logic to form a shared set of rules - like we do now in the form of elections, debates and whatever else.
TuucciZ 1 year ago
@TuucciZ thats a nice sentiment, but it has no weight. relative morals are simply relative. its not a strawman, its a fact. if they are relative, they are relative. you can choose for yourself which ones you want to be your personal absolutes, but if morals come from man they are all relative and the only way to get what you want is to FORCE them on to others. how can you get around that? history proves this fact. how do you call this a straw man argument?
freeze32007 1 year ago
@TuucciZ you want to call them "guidelines" but that is not sufficient. if my "guidelines" say that for example homosexuality is wrong, and i live in a country where the majority of people agree with me, why is it wrong for the majority of us to tell you that you are wrong? oh, thats right, you only want the rules to be what YOU want them to be right?
freeze32007 1 year ago
@TuucciZ you say in the form of an election but im absolutely certain you support the judge that threw out prop 8 in California. you know, the ELECTION where the vast majority of Californians VOTED AGAINST gay marriage. do you respect their vote or not? how bout since the homosexual movement and the civil rights movement are always compared to eachother, what about when the MAJORITY of people voted for slavery in the south? were they wrong? so is it votes and debates or something higher?
freeze32007 1 year ago
@TuucciZ there is something higher than us all who says ABSOLUTELY what is right and what is wrong. anything less is our own personal beliefs which we try to force onto eachother.

WHO gets to say what is right and wrong?
WHAT makes that person or group of people any better than others to give them the right to say what is right or wrong?
WHEN did they get the authority over all humanity to decide right and wrong?
WHY do you agree with them more that the others?
just a few rational questions all atheist should be able to answer.

JabberCT 1 year ago
I'm sorry you don't have a faith. The bible says God is love. Without a faith is like having no meaning in your life...so ask yourself, how did the world began? Who created the laws of nature that allow everything to be as it is. Did an empty universe create itself.
Shawnium101 1 year ago
@Shawnium101 I'm sorry you have faith. Jesus orders his disciples to slaughter his enemies in front of him (Luke 19:27).
Your god is not love, he is murderous, envious, jealous, hateful, spiteful, and completely obsessed with people worshiping him. Even if he existed, it'd be immoral to praise him.
And you have been deluded to the point where you cannot see through the smoke screens religion sets up to cover its own ass. I hope one day you'll join us, and the world can be as one. :)
imperator332 1 year ago
@imperator332LOL, Jesus did not ask his disciples to kill his enemies. Jesus was telling them a parable of how we should make use of our talents to serve others and invest on it rather then keeping it for ourself. I believe you took this from the net...from someone who does not understand the bible. Thank you for your concern on this matter though (:
Shawnium101 1 year ago
@Shawnium101 my apologies, I misread the passage. Still, a good lesson from the new testament. of course, the "master" being a metaphor for Jesus anyways, the point there might still stand. Those who don't keep it for yourself, well, "kill" em. "Kill" in quotes, the Greek word is more like "slaughter".
Still, plenty of good old OT passages of God smiting people to choose from, and let's not forget, he did cause one apocalypse already. ;)
imperator332 1 year ago
@imperator332 (: Yap, thats why we have Jesus to come in our lives. In the OT, God could not bare our sins. He is like a white cloth. Any spot on it must be taken away. The only way to take their sins away was to offer sacrifices. Until Jesus came down as 100% man, 100% God, to take away our sins on the cross. For man to be with God, we need Jesus. Once agn thx for being involved in this issue. You can read up on some theology books, they are pretty deep but really helps you to understand.
Shawnium101 1 year ago
@Shawnium101
No thanks. I prefer history books.
One question though:
Why would God need to come down to earth, sacrifice himself to himself, in order to change a rule he made himself, after a system that he apparently didn't get righ the first time?
That just seems.....stupid.
imperator332 1 year ago
@imperator332 Saw that question coming (: Well, If you understand and read the OT clearly, you would understand the significance of blood. During a sacrifice, one must kill the best of it's life stock to be offered to got; asking him for forgiveness. However, sin became too hurting for God to bare. He then send Jesus to die on the cross for us, as the blood of Jesus is righteous. Thus, we have the Holy Communion. (: I would to answer more of your questions anytime! Feel free to ask them.
Shawnium101 1 year ago
@Shawnium101
Why is god such a dick in the OT?
imperator332 1 year ago
@imperator332
1. the sacrifice needed to be perfect. a human cannot be perfect so the only logical step would be for God to take on a human body and sacrifice himself. its actually an ultimate form of love. if a solider in battle jumps on a grenade he is given a medal of honor! God "jumped on the grenade" if you will for us. its really a simple concept.
2. God is not really bad in the OT as you would believe. everyone pin points the few verses when he is punishing people but ignore the ones
freeze32007 1 year ago
@freeze32007
1. if a soldier jumps on a grenade, he doesn't come back 3 days later.
Your god can and did. So what did he sacrifice? Nothing. Sacrifice means loss. God didn't lose anything. He didn't give anything.
2. Yeah, and Hitler really bad either because he invented the Volkswagen. Same argument, same reasoning. Just as ridiculous.
Yes, we harp on those points, because they're important. Are you getting it yet? This god has a higher death count than Stalin, and you praise him.
imperator332 1 year ago
@imperator332
God is allowed to kill HIS creation who turn on Him. big difference.
freeze32007 1 year ago
@freeze32007
"Hitler is NOT God. he is not allowed to do what he did.
God is allowed to kill HIS creation who turn on Him. big difference"
Yes, I totally see your argument there. As long as you're the creator, you can kill your creations.
Your god is an immoral ASS, and you make him sound like a kid with a magnifying glass, burning ants at his pleasure.
You only get one life. Ending life is one of the worst things anyone can do.
It's sad that I apparently value life more than you do.
imperator332 1 year ago
@imperator332 well what we have here is a difference in viewpoints. so, if u don't mind, could u answer the questions I asked or are u more interested in angry name calling over rational thinking and discussion?
freeze32007 1 year ago
@freeze32007 The bottom line is a critical discussion based on evidence is what determines what is "right" or "wrong" in society.
But if you're suggesting that you get your morals from the Bible, think about that for a minute.
What's that really mean? That deep down inside, you're a real prick. That your true character is one of slime, hate, and violence.
I'm not saying it to be mean, but think about what you're saying.
Without the bible, what are you?
imperator332 1 year ago
@freeze32007
In the end, I believe you should be good for the sake of being good. If you're good only because that armor of religion stops you, you are wicked at the core.
What's more virtuous? Being good because your God told you to? Or being good because it's not nice to be a prick?
I don't steal. Not because a divine command forbids it.
I don't steal because its a dick thing to do.
Why should anyone require more than that?
imperator332 1 year ago
@imperator332 "be good for the sake of being good" sounds real good. but what is "good"? to hitler, killing jews was good. to Stalin, killing millions of christians and anyone in his way was good. to Mao, same thing. to the pope, child molestation apparently was good. to the clan, killing minorities is good. to "pro choice" folks, killing unborn babies is good. to crips n bloods killing eachother over colors is good. you get my picture? what is good? and who says so?
freeze32007 1 year ago
@freeze32007
That's why they aren't the same all over, and why they change over time.

now, you have to explain how the society in hitlers germany was wrong. they agreed and allowed and went along with his plans and actions. so if society says its ok is it ok?
hitler is a GREAT example.
what happens when 2 societies disagree? who is right?
freeze32007 1 year ago
Secondly, how they were wrong? Mass murder.

@imperator332 and if you dont like hitler as an example, how bout stalin, and mao. they were responsible for over 100million deaths and all in the name of communism/atheism. how was their society wrong?
freeze32007 1 year ago
@imperator332 see, the problem with not having a standard set of moral absolutes is that in reality with out them there is no "right and wrong" because everything is relative. you may not like murder, but there are millions of people who do. you may not like stealing but there are millions of people who do. you get my point? so if its all about majority rule what happens when the majority agree that murder is ok? i use murder because its so blatant. i am not foolish enough to think that a

Either way, asking me what makes something "wrong" or "right" is using two arbitrary words without any substance.
What do you mean by "wrong"?
What do you mean by "right"?
Do you mean moral and immoral?
My answer depends on your answer.
Otherwise, you're going in a circle. As stated, morals come from biology and society.
I can't answer questions when you're giving me undefined variables. Right and wrong have no meaning, because you haven't given them any meaning.
imperator332 1 year ago
@imperator332 now were talkin! this is what i like, logic not emotionalism.
1. right and wrong are arbitrary you are correct. without a standard they remain arbitrary. biology cannot make morals. it is not a decision making thing. its just a state of being. we may use biology in determining some of our laws. to be fair, i believe that is what you are saying when you say that tho correct? so we will go with that. im also gonna assume you bring it up in the homosexual issue correct? since the
freeze32007 1 year ago
@imperator332 homosexual issue depends largely on religious views, we will not address that issue in this conversation. later we can tho if you'd like.
back to society. if "society" decides what is right and wrong, "society" has to have a standard to say what is right and wrong or else they are just basically making up their own morals.
if they are just making them up, what makes one good and one bad? see, we dont even have a standard of good and bad to make that assessment. thus, with out
freeze32007 1 year ago
@imperator332 a standard, a moral absolute, all morals are relative. if all morals are relative, you CANNOT tell me im wrong and you are right because you havent even told me what right and wrong are yet?
now, as a christian i know that Gods laws are written on our hearts. thats why all around the world, all people know killing, stealing, lying, ect are wrong.
you as an atheist have no moral standard. you believe we are just animals who think alot so where does...
freeze32007 1 year ago
@freeze32007 Personally, I derive my moral standards from hedonism. I know that an anarchistic world - one without moral standards as you describe - could not provide me with happiness. Unlike in our current society, most of my time would be spent on mere survival. What logically follows from this is that a society upheld by a feeling of safety is required to give us all the opportunities for achieving happiness.

@TuucciZ well, see the flaw in this argument is that there are people who are evil and enjoy or choose to live a life of violence. the vikings, the huns for example, modern day mobsters and gang members. you would have to defend yourself from those types of people who are going to be stronger and better fighters than you. there would have to be something more than just your personal desire to be happy to over come that.
the second fatal flaw is that as you said you "personally" choose them...
freeze32007 1 year ago
@freeze32007 i have to admit, i like the way you debate. no anger, insults, or emotionalism. thank you for that. i hope we can continue in this manner throughout this conversation.
God bless bro
freeze32007 1 year ago
@freeze32007 The difference between the most of society and mobsters is that the mobsters are the most selfish ones. Instead of seeing the advantages of co-operative hedonism, they abuse this systems. Fortunately, criminals and other such wrong-doers are often caught and punished if they don't play by the rules - and may I add it can only be done by co-operation, in which case I don't have to be strongest to feel safe.

@TuucciZ
1.you are looking at this from a modern-day perspective. hunter gathers would have benefited greatly from a rob and steal, survival of the fittest type. even the most early farmers would have.
2.you are placing YOUR type of hedonism higher than theirs. if the rule is to be happy, who are you to stop their happiness? just because you dont want to be hurt does not make ur opinion any higher than theirs. you are pushing your personal beliefs on others. period
freeze32007 1 year ago
@freeze32007 1. Would they have? Even the strongest would've had to use their limited resources for that survival and protecting their goods, instead of, say, beginning to think of early science and philosophy.
2. It is not just my hedonism. If everyone was allowed to go for their good, we would live in an anarchistic society - we have to find a balance between that and limiting freedom to ensure safety. Neither extreme works but the middle is free game, so this is just a general guideline.
TuucciZ 1 year ago
@TuucciZ
1. look at the earths history. there have always been evil oppressive murderous rulers and societies. only war has stopped them, not logic, not rational thinking, war. oh, yea and hedonism! rome for example fell as they became so hedonistic. but science and philosophy stopped nothing even today it takes war to stop those people.
2. the prob still remains that it is RELATIVE and you cant push your own personal beliefs on people, or can you?
freeze32007 1 year ago
@TuucciZ as i have already proven, all human morals are relative. so the only way to tell me that mine are bad is if you can force yours upon me. "might makes right". so your choice of moral standards are nothing more than your choice, there is no right or wrong. if i want to hurt someone, who are you to say im bad? all morals are relative. only if you have the "might" to make me stop hurting people does it become "wrong". so why are you trying to push your personal beliefs on others?
freeze32007 1 year ago
@freeze32007 Of course force plays a big part on our morals - even the idea of absolute morality is often forced onto people. However, back to hedonism. It is an universal human treat - to go for the good of yourself, more or less. Based on this standard, which is pretty much the only universal basis for things like these, harming people is bad, because it saps from the hedonism or others or limits it greatly.
TuucciZ 1 year ago
@TuucciZ true, human nature demands "might makes right". even our modern society is ran by might makes right. even God is "might makes right" He created this universe, He has the might He makes the right. but God is not subject to change on a whim like humans so we have a good standard in God we can trust in. man on the other hand will change his opinion depending on the situation.
back to hedonism, who are you to determine the limits of what people can to to make themselves happy?
freeze32007 1 year ago
@freeze32007 I am not one to determine. Our laws are more or less based on what is either logically beneficial for the society, or what has been decided by the people (or their representatives). For example, we can logically argue for that outlawing murder has a beneficial impact on our society - it causes far moer harm than it gives, except in extremely few situations as I explained in a message before. Morals are a combination of pure logic and the average of opinions.
