@TemplarDon In the 1st game? Usually when you hover over a unit icon having selected the factory it gives a short description detailing the unit's offensive, defensive and special capabilities.

me and my friend tried to test out which faction had the better experimental naval unit, so he would use the wilfindja and I would use the kraken. the funny thing is that half way through the battle my kraken just gave up and stop firing lol

it is very cool to watch it in action.. its good against ships..medium (not very good) against air units. and it has no defense against submarines which is odd for a exp SUBMARINE unit.

@codegeassownage Ooh the kraken is pretty ok. It can handle itself against ship, moderate at air. The important thing also it, that it looks very cool ^^. the bomb bouncer and pullinsmash are by the way, far weaker

the kraken can multi attack units ... buuttt...... it sucks :S Y_Y its so weak! damn. i wish it was like 6 times stronger. i mean.... its the kraken were talking about!. the kraken in like Pirates of the caribean or in clash of the titans for example are like epic creatures.. disapoint's me a bit that the kraken in SC2 is not that impressive .this is just my opinion.. but i think am right

@videokid513 the reason why your 3 subs killed it is because it didnt stay submerged. in the demo or original game its mostly used to destroy boats not subs so the ai must have thought there were ships attacking so it came up instead of staying submerged

@codegeassownage no, it stayed submerged. only thing is, it didn't even attack them, no attempt whatsoever. then when I replayed that mission (in the demo) I sent a bunch of ships over and guess what, it did nothing, didn't unsubmerge and attack, nothing.

this may be because the AI was actually smart and realized I had like 25 battleships that would destroy it the second it popped up, but who knows

Well i have played both games now , Sup Com 1 and its expansion and the Sup com 2,

As a matter of fact i really enjoy playing this game! Granted the first in the series had more strategic depth, However this game oozes fun and i can play it on a sunday and still do my own things as each game doesnt last for hours on end!!

actually, i believe the Kraken is very useful in small groups, or patroling the lightly used areas on the map. i will say, it does suck in a firefight.

its one install per acount. You can restore and than redownload it. But if you have 2 comps with the same acount, it will only allow one steam to be on at a time. Or you can go into offline mode and do a land party. Just remember you gotta be offline.

well experimentals are ALOT more faster to build, compared to supcomm1 which could take anywhere between 5 minutes to half an hour, supcomm 2 x units take a few minutes with a single engi

There are minor and major experimental units, the minor ones are weaker but much cheaper to build. In the demo you only see the minor ones. The full game will have the major experimentals which are much harder to kill.
