was this the full system or just the slip on? With or without PC3? I just purchased a C14 and will be replacing the bazooka after I can make up my mind between TBR, V&H or Muzzy.....decisions, decisions.
Great Video by the way - I wish more people did fly-by recordings!
@qbert203 Hey, it's Shorty. Someone jacked my other username.
At the time of this video I was riding the bike hard like you see in the video. I just completed a 2,700 mile roadtrip from Louisiana to Washington, and I averaged 42-43 mpg doing 80 on the interstate. This bike gets absolutely killer mileage for such a large bike. The bike was also fully weighed down with both bag full, and plenty of stuff strapped to the back.
I got a TBR with Powercommander. JESUS what an upgrade. I have the Ti version of the exhaust though, those little gold rings on the front and rear of the exhaust are now silver if that means anything. It sure gets up to 187.5 damn fast. Not bad for a Super Sport Touring.
@dh3790 What's a TBR? And where can I get the Powercommander work done? I'll admit I'm a novice when it comes to bikes, but my buddy has a Buell 1125R, and it would make my day to be able to keep up with him.
Hi, Nice sound! I notice you are running 34/42psi in the tyres. Over here on standard bridgestones the recommend 44/44 which I think is far too high and am using 36/42 on Pilots - what tyres are you using and do you rate them. Cheers. Pete UK
I'm using the standard tires, but at the time of the video, I just had a leak on the front tire, which I corrected when I got home.
Also, be very thankful you have a remote tire pressure gauge. A buddy and I went out for a midnight ride, and we had gone no further than a block when my bike let me know I had 22psi! I didn't notice I had picked up a nail when I pulled back onto my street, and I couldn't have seen the difference anyway in the darkness, but it sure saved my skin!
If you really want to be impressed with the sound, trade bikes with a buddy, and have him ride next to you. You won't believe the difference! It sounds way better to the people around you.
@4teenteam Shorty here, it's a killer pipe. It gets a lot of compliments and it sounds absolutely fantastic. At about 60mph in 3rd gear, the bike is between 4-5k rpm, when you roll on the throttle, you can really hear the second cams open up and the sound is just fantastic.
There is an optional handle bar that is more like the XB12Ss bar. sit you a little more upright. I had my XB in for the 5K service on demo day but they didn't have a CR set up.
Very, very good video champ! Thanks for uploading this.

Nice mod. The factory exhaust is the one thing I didn't like on the Concours. How many hundred pounds did you save swapping it out? ;)
C14 is the bike I always wanted to get. Couldn't afford the purchase+insurance though. Jealous. =)

dosent sound anything like that when your riding. its cool to hear what every one around you hears. good post

TBR= Two Brothers Racing.
You will have to find a shop with a dyno. If they have a dyno, they usually have the know how to setup a powercommander.

I like that at :34 seconds you can still hear the bike at "idle" even though it's a good ways away.

i notice the info screen says average mpg is 38.3. not bad for a big bike like this. what kind of riding were you doing when you got that number?

There's really no describing how awesome this pipe sounds in person.
I swapped bikes with my buddy, and I just PRAYED for him to pass me. It sounds unreal.
I actually sort of envy the people I pass, haha

Nice sounding "Bagger."
An 1125R would make a nice garage companion to this.

I rode an 1125CR
That bike is nuts! Because it's naked AND has a very forward riding position, I felt like I was falling off the front of the bike the whole time.
Plenty of torque though! Buells rock!
