It's actually quite an intelligent film beneath the surface but guess some people were drawn to it for the wrong reasons and expected to see something else, like blood & gore from start to finish or a slick teen-horror along the lines of "Buffy". This movie is neither and nor is it "Amityville" but does require the viewer to think every second of the way.

Dont even waste your time watcing this complete lie, i have the condition known as Psychosis, i haver never hurt another human being in my life, the condition makes you scared of ordanary people you fell that they will attack you out of no where, the move director has obviosly not done his homework and done a complete shit job of it. This is a horror movie that is used to scare small minded people into thinking that us folks with Psychosis are all bad people

@GoldXrose you could have a point about the girl in the woods, she did look quite drugged and trippie in the sex scene but she said later that she was Peck's girlfriend/lover. Don't see that Susan was raped - she was taken advantage of sure because she was drugged, but she was into having sex with with him (probably wouldn't have been if she wasn't tripping on mushrooms....that was my interpretation anyhow. PS no need to shout dude

Honestly, I'm a writer and I do not need to be alone to write my novel or my shorts. The same kind of screenplay or adaptation has happened in many movies I've seen ie Deadline with the late Brittany Murphy. I was looking at movies to rent and saw Charisma Carpenter and came to watch this and I wont be renting it after all. It really does look like a college film, but I'm in college in my friends have done better stuff than this.
Why do writers alway's wanna seek comfort in a Silent place where nobody lives for miles...damn it's like they just wanna experience the horror, so shut up and go live in the city instead of Adams Familie houses :-/
@chikensaregood are you dumb??? it wasn't a dream, she was seeing the future!!! the killer exists, you see him at the beginning murdering the campers, then you see him at the end when he shows up at the house. everything in between is a premonition of what is going to happen in the future.
this is a good film but i dont get the ending was everything real tht she imagined or summit cause david gets killed by the man she 'imagined' n b4 for tht he was talking to the people tht she 'imagined' so was it real? very confused lol
@missjadiie2010 From what I understood from the movie, she was seeing future events. Remember with the oracle or w/e lady scene. She said that people who see things that aren't there have the sight to see the future.
