@piromaniac9999 I don't really rate any of the FF villains, with analysis, they can all be described as two dimensional. I personally hated FF6, and kefka was a big part of that. i never took him seriously. At least at the beginning of FF7 when Sephiroth is a mysterious figure there's some aura of danger about him. I don't like FF7 that much, either. I just constantly hear how great Kefka is with no real explanation!

Well being as Ive played both 6 and seven and have no real bais toward any of them.

I concur Kefka is severally overatted. Infact 6 is pretty good but to be quite honest It just sort of snuggles along side of 4 and 5 in quality.

Kefka really only seem to gain most of his popularity as of late with dissidia version of him sprouting up.

I happen to think Kefka is a bad villain, but I accept that other people like him. I don't like the sheer vastness of the fanbase he gets, as I don't understand it. I like Golbez and the Emperor the most out of the old FF villains.

I'm referring to dissidia more with that comment, where the VA's performance was downright awful. In FF6, he's just an inconsistent villain.

on the one hand Kefka the obviously mentally ill clown who wants to destroy everything cause he can´t stand life itself and he´s really funny (sometimes)

and on the other hand sephiroth is really cool in the way of his impassible manner btw. he´s got the same destroy everything attitude and he has a really awesome tune (see: "one winged angel!)

and i feel kinda misunderstood because i didn´t even play the compilation games and i didn´t even like advent children because sephiroth came back to life and rufus was suddenly alife too.^^

i just can tell you that a comparison is kinda hard, because they appeared in so very different games allthough both were from the same series.

possibly, but sephiroth fans tend to be far less hostile, whereas Kefka fans revere him as some sort of God. If you tell sephiroth fans that he's not that well-rounded a character, they usually agree, but Kefka fans blindly refuse to accept the truth.

Unfoooortunately, it seems so many Sephiroth fanboys have never actually -played- the game. Seriously. Give it a whirl; ask one what color Cloud's dress is. They won't have the slightest clue what you're talking about!

I believe that while both fanbases are 'tards, this makes the wittle mommy-boy-wuvers a tad bit more... annoying.

that's true too. Way too many have just seen Advent Children, and the less contact I have with people who actually deemed that piece of trash watchable, the better. In my opinion, Kefka is the worst FF villain, and I accept other opinions, but not those who justify it simply by saying 'he's just awesome' or something to that effect. If it's any consolation, I destroyed Sephiroth first in my Dissidia vids!

Kefka does suck I agree.

Cloud is more fun in Dissidia than Squall I found, Squall has no branching moves like Omnislash 5 and Finishing touch, it woulda been nice if Rough Divide came in combo variation as well as Aerial.

Yeah, but I can't stand Cloud's cutscenes (Seriously, how much does he want to moan!?), and I've been waiting for something involving Squall to be released forever. Cloud's my 3rd favourite hero, after Squall and Cecil.

I think Sephiroth is overrated too, but at least I like Sephiroth to some extent. I found nothing original or likeable in Kefka, and his fans annoy me 10 times more than people who worship FF7 and insist on calling him 'Sephy', which makes me sick to my stomach!
