  • *sigh* How I love this song, it's such a dreamy, soaring ballad.

It's awesome to be able to share it with someone too.

Thanks Matt! Looking forward to Constant Crows, and perhaps to be cheeky a gig in the UK ;]

  • exquisite song.....my god

  • I just discovered this song... SO AMAZING. been in tears for a while now, thank-you.

  • Your jazz voice is FANTASTIC! You should stick to this, most definitely! You have a nice color to your voice here, something I didn't quite hear in the Handel "But Who May Abide..." This coming from a fellow jazz/opera singer, who just happens to be dating a countertenor. Great talent here though! :) Best of luck!

  • I´m obssessed with this song! Makes me cry everytime! You are awesome!

  • Matt, I love music and love good singers, mostly of the past. Yoy have a great voice, you could sing those songs no one sings anymore, since all the greats are gone now.

  • Thanks Matt, I've been with my partner for 36 years, it brought on the tears and flashbacks, But this is now OUR song. love ya.

  • Such a beautiful thing you are , your music. Have you published this song? Can we buy the music? I sing August 20th at the Charlottesville Pavilion and would love to cover this although no one could do it a s wonderfully as you do. Thank you for all that you are.

    Cheers

  • Matt,

This is really just a beautiful song. Have you published it? Can we buy the music? I am performing August 20th at The Charlottesville Pavilion, would love to cover it, but would never be able to the justice to it that you do but would do my dead level best. Your music is everything we mean to be. Cheers

  • I think the beauty here is that the sound is not perfect, the crowd are doing their own thing and the camera is always in motion but Matt pulls it off with his beatiful style. I love this.

  • oh this is beautiful!!! perfect for a big gay prom =D

  • Visit Toronto and you can bet i'll be the #1 groupie!!!

  • Beautiful, Matt. Just beautiful. Hopefully you get to swing out to Boston/Providence someday.

  • I can see why people fall in love with you when you sing. I have your "End of the World" in my youtube favourites and I have it on my iPod. Love listening to it when I'm on a plane. thank you Matt.

  • I wish I could be in Chicago to see you in person. what a thrill that would be. for now I'll enjoy your videos.

  • I really love your performance here. You sound more like

Harry Connick Jr. than on the original version. I love both styles. Maybe you can cover a standard on your next CD.

You are definitely a real talent.

  • Matt, my nickname is, "Emmy", for the "M" in Michael. I will pretend that was my ball, and you were singing to me. A guy can dream! The video reminds me of the Goldston barber shop in my hometown of Memphis, TX. Alas, no stranger swept me of my feet for a dance. Well, only in my imagination, and that can be oh so nice as well! Thanks for the romance.

  • Excellent performance and video! What is up with those rude people talking?

  • Yeah, I got a Michael Buble vibe when it started but it's just an interpretation of a beautiful song that Matt himself wrote. The beautiful thing about a song that has come from you is that you are completely free to express it however you may feel. Granted, I don't know if a techno house remix would work for me though. :-)

  • Hey Matt....big fan, of you..and the song. I don't care for this "Michael Buble" interpretation of the tune....it's so pure and real as it was originally. I don't know who you may be listening to, but PLEASE don't lose the REAL of this amazing tune...it's just so incredibly perfect as you originally did it. Nice stage though!

  • Thank you for this performance Matt, this is one of my favorite songs, it always touches my soul...

  • You're wonderful...why is everyone chatting it up?

  • Hey Matt, very nice! I'm so looking forward to hosting you at the Flesh Hungry Dog Show on Oct. 2nd here in Chicago.

  • beautiful song by a beautiful man...wonderful job!!!

  • Still beautiful and still makes me cry. Still a song that hits me personally.

  • Oh wow, I just get goosebumps everytime I hear this song. You sing it beautifully.

  • This song always puts a smile on my face.

  • @klyymaxx23: well now we're even. Thanks Kly- M

  • Just lovely! I have a little fantasy of you singing this song softly in my ear as we dance around a barber shop. ;)

  • @sparkers70: well, I DO need a cut...

  • 'twas magical, especially with the disco ball. : )

  • Gorgeous. Thanks for this.

  • took my breath away....AGAIN!

  • @visitor9627: same happened to me when I turned around and saw what had been hovering above me!

  • It's a total coincidence perhaps, but just today I was walking across campus enjoying the autumn-like feel of the air and I sang this out loud as I walked along. Approaching the end of another year and it's been almost a year since I first heard this song. Beautiful, Matt. Thank you for being you.

  • @woodsmoke: that sounds like a lovely afternoon! I miss Autumn! Thanks for letting me know. M

  • You are special at so many levels, Matt....

  • Beautiful, as expected.

  • Love it ... !!!

  • Beautiful.
