@rpeek yes will do today actually. i am so interested is because i just bought myself a 1950 Plymouth coupe as well. and would like some info on his work. Very Nice Car. what some minds can accomplish.
@MentholSnuff Yes. He hasn't done any body work and is not planning to. He did say he'd spray it flat black. The new owner can fancy it up if they want too.. Ken is excellent at what he does, no doubt.
@serama555 Talked to Mike a few days ago.. Like most of us he's been busy plowing snow and such, but I think he was going to maybe get some work on it this weekend. I'm going to touch base with him later today. I've got an Edelbrock manifold to give him and I was thinkin' of takin' it over and seein' what he's up too..
ok thats a nice car/truck or whatever you would call it,he did a good job on it but this isn't my cup of tea i like a car mostly stock or least on the original frame with some mods to me it don't make sense to put a later model frame on an older car why not have it stock but thats me i know others would disagree but thats ok cause i like being me even though i'm odd haha
@rollofnickles Mine will... I stand beside it, spray either in the carb, pump the throttle by hand, hook up the battery charger, kick it, and hit the starter. After turning over for half an our or two, it fires right up.... hahahaha..
really nice! I am quite impressed with the metal work in the floors.. Rpeek, how come our floors dont come out like that? haha.. maybe we use bigger hammers.. haha
@1963impala2dr Yea. You know the man's good. That's all you can say. If I'd built it it'd have plywood floors close-hanger-wired together and coated over with duct tape.
.....too bad the original running gear was tossed.....a car like that deserves a restoration, but to each his own. It will definetly be a reliable cruiser !!!
@rpeek Well its not still in the car.......therefore doesn't really matter where it is now, to me anyway.... A 50 convertible should be restored, not hacked up. IMHO
@rpeek LOL I know, and no offence to you or the builder.... I just hate to see solid cars modified- Guess Im more of a purist.... Still enjoy your videos though !!!!
@farmall1938 I don't think Ken started with a solid car. He talked about how hard it was to get everything to line up with no floor and such. Up here, most of what you find has been pretty much eaten away. I'm pretty amazed that the doors, hood, trunk, and everything opens and closes as good as it does, since I know he had to make it all fit piecing together pieces and parts..
graet car but i say different about the frame

Makes you think about what kind of a frame would go well under the Ugly Stepsister, no?

That is Nice. I'd love to see that car up close and see how solidly built it is. From the video it looks like he worried about the details.

THANK YOU! I have been thinking of doing the same kind of thing with an S-10 & a late 30's Chevy pick-up body.

@RESET1776 There's quite a few out there that have built hotrods on S-10's. They work good.
