seems that christians only listen to designated "christian" posthardcore bands, not the others, and many of the others are better music than the christian ones...why can't people just appreciate music for what it is and not add personal beliefs into the mixture?

That is a little closedminded to say. Certain "designated Christians" may listen to "designated Christian" phc but not all Christians are like that. I see your point, but some people are also the opposite way. They will refuse to listen to a band because they are Christian, which I know is in accordance with your comment, not in contradiction. I like what you said, just not the way you said it.
