i got the LG Arena.. its very good phone.. well it has some bugs but if u change the firmware (its something like Theme) the bugs will disappear.. im really enjoying it.. my memory is 40GB total (8 + 32 micro SD).. im happy with it. i dont need apps or games or things like that.. if i wana play something im going to do it on the PC not on the phone.. the only thing for me that is crappy its the processor :S but i really think its better than the iPhone ;)..

You must have a faulty one.. The battery in my LG arena is amazing, lasts up to 3 days... and thats playing music pretty much 10 hours a day while im at work so yeah, batterys isnt bad and 2, its not slow at all, not unless you have big fat sasauge fingers that press every button on the screen... The LG arean is a great phone.

i doubt it will ever support the lg arena. They only have about 3 phones with the s-class and they have to make other ones for them because its so different from other phones. And the arena doesnt have enough performance to handle good apps and games like the iphone.

I've tried both and I must say iPhone kicks LG's ass. The respons in the LG touchscreen is so slow, I get frustrated... iPhone on the other hand has never failed me. Way to go Apple! :D

-good design with quality titanium body

-multimedia phone with great functions

-battery life is really weak at only 12 to 14 hrs of strong usage.

-phone is often to hang if there is many app and storeges done into the phone memo, 8gb is of no use

-need to add external memo to avoid crash/hang.

-5mp camera which is really good for a touch ui phone grt vid qlty.

Friend of mine had an LG Secret and it broke down in 5 months. No abuse, totally baby'd it to death. I hate LG's overall quality. Want quality? 4 brands:

Apple, Sony Ericsson, HTC and Nokia. Something else is mostly complete shit (Samsung sometimes has some nice phones, but tend to break down alot too)

I also had 2 Nokias, but too standard. Had 2 Sony's too, were nice! (S500i and W910i) Then my HTC's and now Apple.

It does have 8GB internal memory, it also has a memory card slot supporting upto 32GB.

I do not know about the holes.

if you take both of the iphone's and Arena's specs and put them aside you will see that the arena is way far more advanced than iphone. Plus i think that apple is using their name since its a great house hold name in America to make their prices very high.(Your not paying for the product but the products name)

I must say, I like the IPhone apps and the huge touchscreen, but the fact that it does have a 2 MP camera, doesn't even have a video amera and doesn't even support MMS, I think it sucks. IPhone is also way more expansive than the Arena, so Arena kills IPhone in my opinion =]

so. lol LG has limeted functions iPhone you can download Apps to give you unlimited entertainment, not only that you can make apps yourself for the iPhone so if your bored of the iPhone, make an app for it. but you can only do it on an APPLE Mac(book) and to what you said with LG and there brands... You obviously do not know anything about smartphones. The LG's new UI may be good but what if you want to add extra software? lets say a doc editor or maybe turn by turn voice nav? The S-class UI is only able to take java applications and guess what? Java is not very advanced. You will never find turn by turn voice nav in java coding and a document editor could be possible but it would be rubbish.

I know the Arena isn't branded as a smartphone and this is my point. The Arena is much more limited than the iPhone due to this reason alone. This means in general, the Arena does not kill the iPhone.

The 2mp camera on the iPhone actually produces good pictures but is let down by the lack of autofocus. It's alot better than other 2mp phones.

The HTC Touch, Touch Cruise, Touch Diamond and the Touch HD.

The diamond was a good phone (Hd too), but still, it wasn't like great.

I bought the iPhone. By sharpness, much phones beat it, but I like how it is more fun and better to use. Cam responds quicker. I take a lot more pictures then previously.

Phones coming near (not design-wise, though) the 'perfection' of the iPhone, are the Android phones.
