hi i just bought one of these today and im not quite sure what strap to use to attach it to my helmet. is it the elastic one, the 2 thin Velcro one or the thicker one???
How waterproof is this camera? As in if i'm cycling in the rain with it attached to my helmet, will it be OK? I may buy one in the next few days, depending on waterproofing.
The camera *may* be okay in some light rain (spitting), but personally I would take it off as soon as it starts raining as there are a lot of slots open to the elements....If you look in the description there is a link to a review I've written. I'd have a read of that. I've also linked on there to a waterproof cover that they will be launching soon! There a couple of links to the best places to buy a muvi in the UK - just click on the links :)
Ahright, thanks for that. I held one today, in a shop in town, the clip literally snapped in my hand, so i'm not gonna get one. And i really can't afford it atm haha, i'm learning to drive too. Might get a bullet cam later next year.
a new memory card solves the lag...the 30 minutes is a standard camera thing...but put it on vox and it will start again (you loose a few seconds of film - my atc2000 does somethin similar)
I'll upload a demo video with clips, compared to my old atc and at night next week.
It only takes a few seconds to start filming. It has a VOX mode (voice activation). This will start recording when it hears over 65db and will stop when it hasn't heard anything for 2 minutes. When testing them, it starts recording after about 2-3 seconds - can't really fault it for that.
did you attach it to your helmet????? and if you did can you please make a vid on how you do it? Thanks!!!!

hmm. My helmet mount seems a little loose, so i've got some blutack in there as a back up too...clips seem okay though - might be a one off.

Yeah, who knows. The shop said they were gonna send it back anyway, it should be sturdier than it was, being an action cam. I'll just keep looking :)

how did you attach the camera? so far with mine, the video has been really up and down because the extreme sport mount is quite shakey!

i attached it with the supplied velcro and helmet mount.
The "jumpyness" in this video is caused by the crap, supplied SD card.

Did the class 6 mem card solve the problem with the waving pic and 30mins record time?
