  • Awesome! You doing Socal #2 or Norcal?

  • this has to be one of the easyiest mudders most are around 11 miles with more obstacles and hills

  • Would a training diet of regular running and P90X be enough for this event?

  • @MrAnderson1985 yeah, half the people in this event look like the barely ever run let alone the p90x program in its entirety lol

  • Im doing this in Belfast, Northern Ireland later this year. CANNOT WAIT LOOKS LIKE HELLA FUN

  • 00:49 oowee! gurl your gluteus is well fed! werk dat!

  • It was 10 miles thank you.

  • im doing it in september at sydney!

  • all I can say is Tri State.... Finish it and then talk. I'm just saying

  • this is NOT a tough mudder. I hereby revoke all of your headbands. 7 miles = weak. #Georgia2012

  • @mgaritty We did Sat with the wind blowing 40 mph, and jumping in ice water, the temp was in the low 40's, for 11 miles and 25 obstacles that were much more real. These northern Cal folks had a cake walk- none of them were even muddy! Sign up for Carolina in Oct.

  • phillip island 2012 !!!!! go team HOORAH!

  • Do you have to know how to swim.

  • @12discoundoublecheck yeah you jump about 20 to 25 feet into deep water.

  • Whistler in june!

  • cant wait for this to come to T.O. this summer!

  • wow, this looks soooooooo easy. what a joke

    ...and what beautiful weather

  • I want to do this sosososo badly, but i'm not 18 :'(

  • yah really need to look up,. !! " SPARTAN RACE " !!

  • They accept everyone ?. Because not everyone is ready for that ... it's needs to be damn hard!. ;)

  • 3:12 I think this whole tough mudder was just a big plot to get people to stack their firewood for them?

  • awesome :) music name please? $

  • Im getting an adreneline rush just watching this...Id love to do this one day

  • Im only fifteen and me and my girlfriend are signed up to do this on june 24th

  • @robandbobx2 You have to be 18...

  • @bonezillion

we signed up already, registered our birthdays and everything. If the site or people running tough mudder had a problem with this, they would have said so in the regeistration

  • @robandbobx2 It's on their site though. Somebody asked if there is an age restriction and they said you must be 18+.

  • 7 miles? thats it!? we did 14 yesterday. you guys gotta get to a bigger event.

  • I really want to do the one in Phoenix, but its ten days before I ship out for Basic Training.... anyone military have an opinion on whether or not this is a good idea so close to my ship date

  • looking forward to IN Nov 20, 2011.

  • Where is the mud?

  • Do you got to form a team for these challenges? Is there minimum and maximum number for a team or d you get assigned to one if your not in a group or don't have a large enough group?

  • @Xilstealth You do not have to form a team. You can join one if you would like, but this can be a solo event.

Where are you thinking about participating at?

    -Devin

  • @DevinHunterLive I'm going to the Vancouver event @ whistler. I was maybe going to invite one friend and form a team with just me and him

  • @Xilstealth FYI: I created a Tough Mudder Community on Facebook you might be interested in connecting with others and share your experiences there also.

  • I just did the tough mudder Norcal in squaw. By far the toughest mudder ever. . Signed up when it was 10 miles Received email before saying it was bumped to 11 miles Got to squaw and new map said it was 12 miles Ran the course with distance tracker to find it was 13 miles . 24 obstacles: -2 of which were berlin walls -2 log carries on loose rock -chernobyl jacuzzi contained nothing but 40% water 60% ice -some almost drowned on walk the plank unable to swim in 40 degree water. -many rolled ankles
  • @macbeasty wow, I definitely think Tough Mudder keeps upping the ante. Feel free to post any video as a reply to this one!

  • @macbeasty just preregistered for the NorCal 2012 event... stoked!

  • @macbeasty I'm still needing to do an official Tough Mudder. I was at the Central Texas run that was rained out, but we still got to do a 6 mile version. I still have scars from it, and the whole way it was pure mud that would rip off your shoes, so me and my friend ran it barefoot from half a mile in.

Certainly not as cold or long as yours though.

  • @macbeasty The ice tub is whats psyching me out!! I lost my cousin who was 15 he fell threw the ice in the winter, my father fell thew the ice but he made it out alive, my dads friend got in an a car accident and the car went in the ice and both people passed away. I really want to do the course and im willing to face my fears but I pray I wont be emotional about it at the event.. I went skydiving, and after that I was thinking what can be cooler the skydiving and I think this is.

  • @sheshisbrat

you'll do it. "whether you think you can, or think you can't, you're right."

  • Comment removed

  • lol how come yall clean at the finish line?

  • OK I am doing Tough Mudder in Squaw Valley next week...is it really as bad as they make it seem??

  • So if this shits 10-12miles, I'm guessing they have places to get water along the way? Lol

  • this is getting me ready for my race in october in virginia! great song for the video. girls you look awesome!

  • Gotta admit. I thought the obstacles would be a bit more hardcore. I can do 50 pullups without kipping so somehow I think climbing over bus with a cargo net will be beyond easy. Maybe I wasted my $150.

  • @aaaMitsugi Same here. Aside from the 50 pullups (due to my pansy arms), I could go do the rest right now, and I'm not all that strong. There was a different event, I've forgotten the name, that seemed much harder than this.

  • @obankobi Actually, pullups use your back muscles. But still, I signed up for the the Tampa event. Flat Florida is probably going to make this event a cake walk.

  • @aaaMitsugi Ah, okay, my pansy back then. :p Even if it's easier than you'd like it, remember to have fun! It's a great excuse to mess around and have fun.

  • Hehe I go skiing up there. at the end where that house is. To the left of that is my favorite run when its all powder. Its called, "Sugar" :D

  • my math Teacher did this in Bear Vally C.A if anyone knows him he is Tim Weidmann ^.^

  • July 2012 I am signing up to compete. Vail Lake CA

  • are you doing the norcal one in sept?

  • @noopd Not this time, but may check out the World's Toughest Mudder in December

  • @CaliHoya did finish top 5% , they only accept people with that minimum requirement

  • I'll be doing this on July 23rd in Wisconsin!!!

  • @Workman271 best of luck - you'll love it!

  • @CaliHoya hey, got a question, if you fall on say idk the monkey bar thingys, are you out? and you cant get a headband?

  • @Workman271 I'm running the 24th! Good Luck!

  • how old do u have to be to be in it

  • @redeyedeagleairsoft 18 years old

  • I'm 15, is there an age requirement for this? Cause I'm pumped for this shit

  • @raptornuggets age limit is 18.

  • @raptornuggets its 18+ because you risk serious injury/dying

  • I like the video,

  • @ladyyesenia1 Thanks, Hilda!

  • 3 MORE DAYS BABY WOOHOO!

  • @WaSupKen Good luck!

  • im doing one in Oct. in Va. What was the pull-up obstacle all about. Did you have to do so many before you could go one? or just do as many as you could? Do you get DQ'd if you can't complete all of them? The website says 78% complete the tough mudder. Does the 22% just quit or are they DQ'd? Just wondering cause this is my first one

  • @ta77w The pull ups aren't actually an obstacle during the course. They are from a post-race challenge sponsored by the army to see who can do the most pull ups. I think the people who don't make it quit, but it really depends on the course for the % that do that.

  • that was a fun run to do. I am also doing the southern california coming up in 2 weeks (may 28,2011) its going to be longer and harder but just as rewarding when its completed!

  • @alexjen73 yea, it was great and very fun. Hope the SoCal one is great - we're thinking of doing the one in Squaw.

  • hell ya. cant wait. Jan 12 &13,2012 phx WHOOOOO!!!

  • ehhh it look ok i went through boot camp so this looks pretty easy

  • Yes forward - sorry no rope burn situation for me

  • Thanks for posting this. Using your vid to motivate the girls to join up and show them it's not just for meat heads!

  • @stolenpass Hope it helped! All the girls in our group enjoyed it!

  • @CaliHoya Nice Video Killer! Didn't know you had such mad video making skills!

  • @SoDakNv Haha, glad you enjoyed it.

  • Great job getting all the obstacles on video. What kind of camera did you guys use?

  • @angushatesderelicts Just an old Canon Powershot with a waterproof case from Amazon - worked surprisingly well even when going underwater.

  • WOW well done. I cant wait tell next year. I am thinking I may go down south for the run in May.

  • @williamentriken Thanks! I want to do another next year as well!
