There are versions of the bible that were written before the King James version. The verses that are used against homosexuality are ambiguous. As you can see the bible is not a good book to base your religious values on.

Hebrew scholars claim the New English Testament is a more accurate translation of the bible. The proof is all the translations can't be right. Not only that if you notice some words are italicized in your King James bible. Those are words that were added in order to make sentences complete. How do you know they added the right words? This was a very good explanation of how the Mormon religion is fake, but i still think that it makes a lot more sense then Christianity, the only difference is when there were heaps of evidence piled against the Mormon religion, although they accepted the evidence, they still carried on with their religion, because although they saw fault they still saw the benefits from religion.

Not only that if you notice some words are italicized in your King James bible. Those are words that were added in order to make sentences complete. How do you know they added the right words? @oldstock1607 the bible as evidence for anything whatsoever. And I notice you are still skirting the question of whether you believe the earth to be 6,000 years old. Why? Is it because if you answer in the affirmative, you KNOW it will discredit you completely? And you seem overly concerned with the semantics surrounding the word "atheist." Actually, it means the absence of belief in god, not antagonism towards the theory of god. It's not ANTI-theist. And that is entirely beside the point anyway

Here's where you can see the damage religion does to people. People who are religious have lost and cannot find meaning in their lives anymore. They think living is in vain. That is so sad. They waste their lives hoping and waiting to get their eternal reward which they think will provide their meaning, but it is only an illusion. A terrible waste of lives. It just makes people be such bitter and hateful assholes to not have any more relationship with life than they do and it promotes ignorance.

This was a very good explanation of how the Mormon religion is fake, but i still think that it makes a lot more sense then Christianity, the only difference is when there were heaps of evidence piled against the Mormon religion, although they accepted the evidence, they still carried on with their religion, because although they saw fault they still saw the benefits from religion.
But the Christians and the catholics stay stubborn against Logic reason fact and evidence until the very end.
