I bought a cheap $350 Chinese no brand unit similar to this, with ipod/satnav/dvd/parametric eq ect. and assumed it would have the sound quality of a secondhand cassette player, too my disbelief it sounds amazing, and ive owned mcintosh, alpine, pioneer. bottom line SHOP AROUND

I've got the INA-W900BT version and an iPhone 4, and I cant get Pandora to stream either. Got the phone part to work but no audio streaming, maybe something in the settings menu I have to do but what? The instruction manuals from Alpine suck. Does anyone know how to do this??

It's because you just have the BT module for phone, not for streaming Audtio, you need the 400bt module. The software on all the units is the same, so it can be misleading when you enable BT Audio and nothing works.

Finally got mine installed all the way. I addd the Backup cam/plate frame and HD Radio. I need to rewire the cam to stay on. It only comes on when I put my truck in rev. I can't fig out how to stream Pandora from my iPhone 4 either. Just FYI the newest touch Nano will not allow to to play videos to this HU and your Album art will be very blurry. I'm buying a 4th or 5th Gen Nano to use in my truck with this.

how do you hook up the PTR7?? and is there a mic someone on the headunit or a wire that u talk into for the phone?

@azntrd There's a wired mic that comes with the BT unit. You have to wire the PTR7 into the back of the units Brake/parking brake wires and then program it.

Having issues with mine. Is this suppose to come with a remote? Can't get my BT to connect. I can can see it on my phone, but not connect. My album art is also blurry from my New Nano. Any ideas?

hey dude, i don't understand, i bought this alpine unit yesterday(INA-W900) and in my set up select i only have audio setup...???not the rest. why?? and also i can't find where to change the color display. can you help me please?? it is because i purchased my Alpine in Canada???

Only the audio setup is available when the vehicle is moving, or thinks it's moving. Try putting your parking break on and you should then get access to the rest of the setup. If it still doesn't happen when you have the parking break on then you'll want to double check the installation, specifically said parking break connections. Either that or put in a switch to bypass the parking break.

@foxracing29 If you wired you unit properly... while in PARK you need to depress your foot brake and while holding down the brake set your parking brake. Once you've set the parking break you can let go of the foot brake and that should unlock the settings on your head unit, also allow you to use your DVD etc.

@khelawanb From what I hear, you need to run your RCA Audio outs from the HU, to the Imprint Unit to get voice prompt. I'm buying this setup today, along with the new PDXF4 and M6 Amps.

I just bought this unit and installed it. I only have one problem so far. I cannot hear the voice prompts for the navigation. I tried to reset the unit and still no luck. Did a google search and found another person with the same problem, and he had to return the product for another :(

@pgarza2 Its like instant no lie....it recognizes one song and starts playing it, than depending on how much you have on USB it take a lil while too get it all listed, and i think its limited actually too 1000 songs, cuz i have a Wd passport and have a bunch of songs on but it only recognizes 1000 total

I have a Pioneer avic 900bt in my red 09 Release Series Scion xB stock and my ipod menu is far superior to this unit. The boot time is slow but the nav and interface are way better. My sound is incredible with just the seperates in the door. When people get in they say first thing that my sound is great. I have ALL EQ's and crossovers on board the unit. NO extra hundreds needed to use it. No processors needed. Sorry Alpine but I will go avic in the dash and alpine everywhere else 4 looks.

your right pioneers take for ever to boot up i love the new alpine but i would go with eclipse any day over alpine just because i have had both and sell both

the alpine units are great but they dont have great voltage but all alpines are 4 volts. and you have to buy the imprint and nav to have a complete avn unit

i brought alpine to chico ca and sold alpine back in the day when they were in japan not china lol but great review

Yeah, too bad Eclipse is no longer manufacturing after market systems :( I was excited to see what Eclipse had to offer for 2010. Now it looks like I'll be upgrading the IVA-W200 to this 900. Despite being burned for a grand on the blackbird (including docking station), I also recently bought the M300 nav, that I'll have to sell on EBAY. Almost bought the Pioneer Avic-z100bt, great unit, but the IPOD sound quality is just better with Alpine and the boot time.
