@ufuckfacesonofabitch yeah he does im almost to that part im on chapter 5 rite now. he does write about family values. it goes from his childhood to his years in school to his early friends to his first short lived bands to him becoming friends with all the people who would later on make koRn to his rise to fame to his years in koRn to his life falling apart to his addictions to him being saved by the holy spirit to his life today as a healthy christian.
@daylantin Cool, I heard somewhere that some pretty wild shit went on during FV98, and thats why they let Limp Bizkit take over in 99 cause it nearly tore them apart.
Ok that makes sense Molotov. I'm sure you read it! The book is incredibly inspirational. Head's lifestyle would have killed him- and what would have become of Jennea? His life of a rock star was a huge roller coaster. He never once said it was easy to change, but through God he was able to. I'm so proud of him. =)
I bought this book a while back and read it. I'm not a guy who likes to read books at all. But this book to me was the best book I have ever read. It goes into details that KoRn's Dvd's never really showed. If you like KoRn or even better Head, you must check this book out. I support what Head did all the way.
all respect to head i think he is great and made a good decision but i just want to see a video of a kid in a korn shirt getting his book signed by head i just want to know what he would say
guys he left the band for you! This is real. If you don't believe in Jesus, you think that it is an angle, a con; it is not this is real. Think for a minute that you could be wrong and if you got no faith or anything else just play with that Idea that go could be real, and ask him for some proof, just like BRIAN did. Listen, these demands are real and they effect the way you think and what you believe
just because the whole jesus thing COULD be real doesn't make it even 1% MORE real than any other mystical doctrine. I asked for proof from God, and really meant it. nothing happened. end of story. people start believing when they stop thinking. if a thinking person reads the bible, they won't come away a firm believer in christian theology.
I know what it is like to be a victim im only a teen and ive never met my dad due to his drug addiction he is constanly in out of prison and its not cool that my bro blamed himself for him leaving so my bro got very angery and sad. My dad just got up amd left us...
If you think head is an idiot let me ask you this. Would you rather him have not kicked drugs and stayed in the band with the chance that he would have killed himself either through over dose or suicide? If it took him "finding jesus" to kick drugs, then I am all for it. At least with him alive and healthy there is a chance one day that head and his brothers from korn will reunite.
In all honesty he left the band to take care of himself so he could take care of his daughter. I have nothing but respect for the man, considering it's everyones dream to be a rock star, but he put his daughter and her well being before his own dreams.
I agree. Just shows how much of a real man he is to give up drugs and be a dad for his daughter. How rare this is. I'm a huge huge fan of Korn and yes I was devastated with his departure but I'd rather he did what he did now than leave his daughter an orphan. Head has always been my inspiration.
Ruggy - STFU! This is probably/maybe a big plabicity stunt. I mean..you dont have to do drugs in order to be in a band. You dont have to hate god to be in a band. So his daughter was singing lyrics he didnt like..so wat? He shoulda just not let her listen if he thinks she was too young. I mean, its called being a parent.
I loved head when he was in KoRn. He was the shit. But right now, i dont like his morals or his credability.
hey dude thats not tru u think he would quit korn for that i mean he so famous already from korn i jsut wish he didnt quit and do that to rest of korn
----- What I can see is that he is using all this christian stuff for his own publicity, maybe what almost all shepards do. I think its good if he reserve all this for him, but i dont know, it looks like pure publicity. God Bless You All...
i think ur your own worst enemy not when doing drugs cuz it feels good at the moment but after and weeks go by and u havent done any drugs including weed u feel like the world is coming down on u and u dont no why???? its all in ur head tho and religion gives hope but isnt real...........
Head makes me happy,His booked really touched me,How he quit drugs and how brave he is. I wish i could get Head's autograph.I finished the book less than a week. Love It,I still look at the pictures in the middle of the book,Very cool.
got some news about that: munky said once the K7 in general is the head-model, because of munky actually never used the K7 live. munky always played his custom-made ibanez. a very very knowledged insider from a local music store confirmed that recently to me... he also said that head mostly played the grey one, but there`s actually no specification, wich K7 made for head or munky... they`re "just" "Korn-Signatures".... thank`s for your answers anyway guys...!
I read the whole book today. Very truthful and heart warming story. He didn't pull any punches to himself. He wrote about all his downfalls, even after becoming a Christian. To think he was this meth addicted in 2004 and now a follower of Jesus makes me see the power of God. He is about Jesus, not the church.
When Brian said Where's Munky,It must've been sad to leave Munky the only guitarist. Munky and Head have been friends since the first day they became freshman. I hope they visit each other once in a while.
Yeah me too. But I'm starting to wonder if they really are gonna visit eachother? Cause I checked out an interview with munky and he said that he have tried to contact head and head just changed his phonenumber and e-mail adress every time.
Well a friend of mine that i met on Youtube ,they went to a concert in Pheonix,AZ,and i told her,I wonder if Korn went to visit Head's place after the concert. I hope they did. Head's rules.
Haha dude, u cant belive how jealous I am! Im from Sweden, and i dont think the book is gonna come here, so i guess i have to order.. i wish he could sign my Ibenz too :)<3 omg, lucky man! Where can i order the book? Peace!
haha thats cool man. i was there when u got it signed by jd and fieldy. then i saw ya at hfstivl. im sure ud remember me. i was supposed to go to that lst night cause its not fat fro my house. but i was fortunate enough to win pumpkins tickets. im gonna try to make it out to the one in dc today.
