I dont care what anybody says but if crosby was selfish and wanted to score more than getting other teamates points I guarentee he would blow ovechkin away every year. Ovechkin is all about the spot light and crosby aint you watch any crosby goal there is way more skill involved than ovechkin. most of his goals go in cause he got alot of power but crosby always out deeks the goalie and finds his way through guys for goals your blind if you cant see that.

You're out of your mind if you think that Crosby cares about "getting other teammates points" I GUARANTEE that while on the ice Crosby does not think to himself "Well I could try and score, but I think Malkin needs a few points so I'll pass to him and let him score instead." Most of Crosby's goals come from him camping the net and taking deflections or hacking at a lose puck around the net. You're blind if you can't see that.

So yeah if malkin has a better chance at scoring then Crosby is gonna give it to him. And if you look at his assists per year there's enough proof right there. Unlike Ovie that has alot of goals but has less assists than most of his teammates. Thats how most nhl players get goals. Ovechkin camps on the blue line and if it wasn't for his shot power he wouldn't get alot of goals.

I think Crosby camps the net (which he does, again, cause his position calls for it most of the time). Ovie isnt selfish with the puck. His line is designed to get him open to unload his shot. Nothing wrong with that. I hate people like you who take things away from Ovie by trying to compare him to Crosby. The two are COMPLETELY incomparable imo cause they play different games.

I was just stating that Crosby has more assists then goals so alot of the time he is setting up for goals rather than taking a goal for himself. And yeah he might get some of his goals around the net but I watch every pens game and I see Crosby score from other places than in front of the net. In the same sence your taking away from Crosby cause you a caps fan so your being a hipocrite by saying Im comparing them.

@donttellmeicant Yeah and that's why the caps can't advance in the playoffs cause they depend on Ovie to much and it takes a whole team to win a cup. The caps have a good team but they dont manage it right. I dont know how many times ive seen Ovie flying down the ice by himself to take a shot and yeah they pass to him but he don't have to shoot everytime and that is why he gets so many goals. Now this year maybe they'll learn that but until they do the caps will never have a cup.
