  • God bless you

  • One of rhe Lutheran hymns that was an ingredient when I was being prepared to live my life. Thank you for the moment. You did well.

  • Hey!! Awesome. I'm learning this for church tomorrow - thanks for the help!

  • It's me, again. Tonight (March 21), I attended a Lent service at a local Lutheran Church. We closed the service with this. The pastor selected this hymn because her sermon was from John 8: 1-11, where the Chief Priests and Pharisees brought an aldulterous woman before Jesus in an effort to trap him.

  • You are very talented

    I love the song.

I see where my Friend Organpipe8 also gave you high ratings.

    God Bless,

    Doc

  • Being loved and accepted for the real person we are, without any pretence or falsity, is so liberating. We so rarely find this in life and must, therefore, find it from God our Father.

  • I am Lutheran LCMS, and we sing this sometimes during Holy Communion-never fails to touch my heart.

  • Same here.

It was played when I was confirmed.

    God Bless you,

  • Every time I hear this beautiful hymn, it reminds me of Billy Graham

  • Very nice! Reminds me of being a teenager at Our Savior LCMS in Mobile, Alabama

  • Very nice - thanks for sharing † ♫ ♪

  • This is a great song! I am an LCMS Lutheran from St. John's in Buckley, IL. Played beautifully!

  • One of the several hymns played on the organ at a Lutheran Church during a funeral service prelude today (Apr. 18)

  • Oh my gosh ... This reminds me so much of my church back in wisconsin lol

Very good. I love the oragn :)

  • Ive never heard anyone play that song on the organ. I was pleasantly suprised by what i heard.

  • I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Tonight (Feb. 25, Ash Wednesday), I attended a worship service at another local Lutheran church. We sang this as the Hymn of the Day. It is #592 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship. Just thought I'd share.

  • A great performance of my favorite hymn.

    Nicely done.

  • Ok. Not bad at all. Congrats!

  • Great hymn and very well played. Beautiful.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Welldone and God bless†

  • Not the tune I'm used to very nice though.

I've never heard that tune in England

  • I'm from the West Midlands (UK) we nearly always use this tune - although occasionally we use Misericordia. We're on the Charismatic-Evangelical side of C of E!

  • What's the name of this tune. I'm trying to find it. The resident DM won't play it, so I'll play it at a service he's not attending. While the cat's away eh?!

  • Just as I am without one Plea.

    May God Bless you,

    Oledoc65

  • @elton1981 the tune to this is Woodworth.
