@eisshertz Agreed that it's a great plane and video, but I'm not sure who you're referring to. The only account I know of where an AAF pilot shot at an enemy pilot under canopy was after he witnessed that enemy pilot shooting AAF pilots who bailed out. He told the story himself. He got on the enemy's tail (a German) and pecked away until the pilot bailed out. He then turned around and shot the enemy pilot as he parachuted from his plane. It was far from the normal practice though.

@msp1865 Well ,it is exact what have I want to say.The aircraft was the best.But some Mustang pilots shoot in enemy pilots when they hanging in the parachute after jump from the damage Messer or Focke-Wulf or IAR-80.There are many regards about that,german,romanian,hungarian.Well ,not only Mustang pilots but Lightning P-38.I think was an unofficial practice.

What a beautiful aircraft. Saw one up close at an air museum in Florida in 1997. One of favourites, along with the Spit & the Focker Wolfe. Very enjoyable watching. Cheers, John. Nice quality filming as well. P.S: I enjoyed listening to this as well, that old engine sound.
