Getting a the best rank (S-rank), on certain conditions mean you earn things called "Karmic Transformers" which changes Ammy's appearance. There's 9 in total. Here's the conditions to getting them:
So only deaths, enemies defeated, money, demon fangs and praise will matter. Basically just get as little deaths, most enemies defeated, most money, most demon fangs and most praise as you can. The shiba-inu one is #2, I believe (don't take my word for it, though, it's been a while XD).
That's where I found it first as well, but kawatika (sorry if spelt wrong; though.. I'm pretty sure that's right) has confirmed it for me that you can get it Sei-an City, which is before Kamiki 100 years ago.
yeah some places have that ive seen the same item at different merchants and stuff.....but since ive defeated the twin deomns lechku and nechku ive got the chance to get thundra beads but is it worth getting the first time around or not because everything i miss now or like the things i dont get S ranks on i can get again but im not sure if theres a S rank for getting all weapons????

O.o'... Umm... when you were fighting the monsters, how did you make them... well, explode? (Also, I'm at the part where I need the Golden Mushroom, but I couldn't find the part where you get it. Can anyone help?)
There's a dojo in Ryoshima Coast (not N. Ryoshima Coast, I don't think), and inside Onigiri Sensei will teach you the Digging Champ technique (the end of Pt. 60 will show you).
You should really try this on Wii. It's so much more improved in every aspect. Most of all the controls (painting). I've noticed you are really dedicated to this game as I am.
During loading screens, if you press the "X" button, if you meet certain conditions, you'll get a demon fang. And if you use certain techniques you get from the dojo, you'll get a few demon fangs. Also, if you use a certain technique against certain enemies, they'll drop a few demon fangs.

Its called the Trinity Mirror, and you can get it after you beat the Dark Lord on a certain island around Ryoshima Coast.
After you -do- beat the Dark Lord, go into Sei-an's weapon shop and it should be there.

i also found the trinity mirror in kamaki village 100 yrs in the past from the frightened merchant

Do you have an example of when they explode (what time)? Did you mean at 0:43 with all the flowery stuff?
For the Golden Mushroom, Pt. 25, 2:55 to 8:20 should help. Molster Leader Moley is near the Cutters' house.

Almost all weapons transfer over. S. Flare, T. Edge, and R. Beads do not transfer over. Basically the last (5th) weapon of every type.
