actually this guitar cake isn't all that difficult. I have never taken a cake decorating class and am a total beginner and made a Rickenbacker 360 the other day... type in "Rickenbacker Birthday Cake" to see it...turned out nice for a first attempt and I charged nothing! I bet Duff gets 2 grand for a cake like this! oh, and my cake was 100% edible so it doesnt look as good as real guitar strings but oh well!

learned as a kid when putting model planes and card together to have all small pieces pre painted before any assembly ...rookie mistake killed that project.

still looked nice but not near as cool with out the strap, I could tell it was put there as a cover up because it is not natural looking the way it is laying.

I watch this show all the time, and they put to much metal and wood and just to much things inthe cake that you can't eat. They can improve on that. Other wise great guys.

i think it's common sense that you DON'T eat the metal guitar strings. They probably MENTION that they're real.
